Perfect spot.
The hotel has a very nice cozy feel! It’s a nice change from all of the neon colors in most of the Florida offerings. The staff was great and the room was comfortable with great pillows! One of nicest Best Westerns I’ve stayed at!
Not during a pandemic
The hotel was nice and comfortable, but despite promises to the contrary, it wasn’t safe or clean. The bathroom mirror had splatters, somebody left behind a nail file. The worst was at breakfast where a posted sign said to wear masks, yet every patron but us was mask less. The hotel worker made no attempt to enforce this safety measure. We left in disgust without our morning meal

I don't know how old this hotel was, but it looked brand new. Very clean and quiet. The room was very well designed and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The internet was fast. There were plenty of plugs for devices.
Will definitely be going back
We had neve heard of Venice florida and this Best Western seemed convenient. It was so convenient and beautiful. To have suites is such a relief when you are traveling in a big group, Staff seemed to follow COVID guidelines, only a couple of front desk workers weren’t wearing a mask but stayed behind the glass. Our rooms were nice, but housekeeping missed 2 days of cleaning/giving fresh towels. There was one house keeping girl and I cannot recall her name, she had ed hair I think and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND when she cleaned our rooms the last 2 days. Breakfast was great, if you ever get a chance to see Patty, be so sweet with her. She is just amazing, she made our stay so much better, you can’t feed yourselves due to COVID and Patty went above and beyond to make sure that we were getting enough food. We were so excited to see her everyday. Such an amazing person. The rooms air conditioning doesn’t get the full room cool, at least not to us. Most beaches are only 15 minutes away and super convenient. We are definitely coming back!! Group/family of 8
homophobic/racist Front Desk
So.... My husband is her on business work and we have been traveling around the states for his job. We have been staying here almost a week now to get a change of scenery and enjoy the beach. Tuesday afternoon I went to the front desk to purchase some food and drinks. The gentlemen who was working there His name was Ron I believe was extremely rude made several remarks about my diet, and was extremely nosy about my business here. He looked my room Up and the moment he saw our last Estrada he goes and says go figure immigrants and the fact he questioned my work as a house spouse he made a comment regarding homosexual lifestyle and called me a faggot as i walked off extremely pissed and disappointed that people with that type of mentality are hired to a place of customer service. if your that old and white with racial issues u should find a garbage or custodian profession..... we are both very outraged with this my husband is a registered nurse and does mortgages for a living. you can imagine we have a very busy life and to be face with this homophobic fagggot comment by the front desk is unacceptable!!!!
