Not clean at All !
So, to be sincere, I've booked for 6 nights. I arrived tired after the flight. My booking wasn't found in the computer's system. I arrived after 16h and my room wasn't ready. The receptionist told me he needed to change the room's light so I went to eat something. I came back later and the room wasn't clean at all. The sheets were not changed. Hairs on it. The floor wasn't clean. The shower support was broken. No toilet papers and soaps for hands and shower. The light of bathroom was and is too low. On the evening we cant use the mirror. The toillet WC was dirty with pissing marks. It wasnt clean at all. Also hairs inside toillet. It was like I came just after someone's slept and left the room, without cleaning. Nothing was clean. No toillet paper no soaps. I have asked for cleaning my room changing the sheet and also change the light of bedroom... nothing ! In 6 days and nights my room wasnt clean at all. It was delivered dirty and stayed like this.
Good moments in Venice
The receptionist has picked up us from the bus station in boat without any extra charge and when we arrived to the hotel everything in the room was perfectly clean even our room had a beautiful view to the canals. STAFF 10/10
2 nights in venice
We stayed at venice at hotel iris 2 nights, very comfortable and clean and the staff is very professional and friendly, really a great place to stay. The location is very central and you can easily reach all Venice main attractions.
Inner city Venice
I was worried after Lin booked us into Hotel Iris, as I read some v bad reviews. I can only imagine the management have some enemies, as it was great, with en-suite bedrooms (WC, shower, basin, bidet), reliable C/H and rooms tidied every other day. simple breakfast downstairs, WiFI. !0 metres up a narrow alley off a side canal. Great access to San Toma vaporetto stop, and a traghetto to cross the canal a few yards from there. Lots of eataries and shops nearby with a grocers on the corner of the next alleyway along.
Good for money
This place is good for the money, I had a single room for a comparable price to a bed in a shared room in some hostels in Venice I booked a shared bathroom but was upgraded to ensuite which was good, the room was comfortable and clean, fixtures and fittings were basic but was everything I needed. Breakfast was between 8 - 9.30 again simple, croissants a cereal and toast, the fact that this is included in the price was amazing. I only stayed for one night and would reccomend to anyone on a budget / short trip. Close walking distances to attractions: 10 mins to where the AVTO airport bus drops off and picks up, 13 mins to Rialto Bridge, 30 mins St Mark's Square Great places to eat nearby
