The location toward the north end of Costa Esmeralda is good but the room was dark and humid. Both the room and the food to expensive for what they offered. Also a stupid stunt: We booked before hand over an internet site. We arrived fairly late, maybe 9pm, and they gave us possibly the worst room on the premises. Also the announced prices were lower then the ones we were charged, likely on booking.com, though I do not remember the site for sure. Better options are available nearby! They are all on the highway so you cannot miss them!
Regular service, poor food

The Hotel looks quite nice, but its rooms are very simple, no air conditioning and with a moist smell. The food was OK, but for Veracruz way below expectations. Also when I called they claimed to have some more expensive suis, but over an internet site we got regular rooms. the price/value relation was not right!
Sea side hotel with good rooms but so-so service

We were on the way to El Tajin and wanted to stay the night sufficiently close by to reach the site at the opening hour of 0900. This hotel is less than an hour away so it fitted our expectations. It is a sea resort with all the amenities, but we first were disappointed by the dinner, the food was low quality and the Margarita miserable. Worst, we discovered that breakfast starts at 0900 when we wanted to be already in El Tajin, and no one in this big hotel was willing to arrange for a breakfast at 0800, or even for a few sandwiches to take away. This is bad service which reduced by ranking of the hotel from good to poor.

Me and my husband started our amazing honeymoon at Bon Jesus and loved every thing about the place! We are nature lovers and were more than happy with the natural look and feel about the place. From the wooden bridge at the entrance to the lush green plants surrounding the place there is attention to detail in every part! The lazy beds with white fabric drapes around the crystal blue pool makes it all the more euphoric! Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful! Always trying their best to make your stay more comfortable and satisfying! They made our stay truly memorable! Rooms are neat and clean. We stayed in the suite with a very comfortable bed and a view il never forget! The balcony opens to the sight of the blue sea beyond the pool and the greenery! The room is well decorated with lovely antique furniture and colourful art! Our room also had a dreamy terrace with a jacuzzi! What more could one ask for! Great food and impeccable service! A variety of delicacies to choose from for all the foodies! Can't wait to go back again some day!
Not run well

So, on day 2 of our trip, I really wanted to give this hotel a positive review; but by day 3, it was clear that the hotel didn't deserve it. Because it's not really run like a hotel. You can only get anything from 9 to 7. Seriously, can't get coffee earlier than that and if you want food later, you have to order pizza from outside! More importantly, there's no public spaces. So if you're going with family or friends, you're stuck hanging out in your (small) rooms or at the pool, but the pool's not lit at night. And the restaurant locks up at 8 pm. So there's literally nowhere to sit and chat in the evening with a group. I'd compare it to cabins, but cabins at least have microwaves, not here. The whole place just feels ... incomplete. Admittedly, it rained the whole time we were there. So I was hyper-aware of how small the spaces were; but also it's just bad for a hotel business plan to kick people out of the one covered space (restaurant) at 8 pm, in the rain especially.
