Tenía una habitación cómoda, no grande, pero del tamaño justo. El Wifi era bueno, y un lobby amplio. El estacionamiento es descubierto y por la lluvia resultó un poco incomodo, porque al estar bastante completo el hotel hubo que dejar el auto lejos.

We had a family wedding in Vernon, BC. Began trying to book rooms. Reservation Desk found us one at The Sandman Hotel and Suites, Vernon. Expensive yes...but we accepted that as part of a tourist trap community. Checked our reservation...we had been charged in USD. Canadians, booking a Canadian Hotel accommodation in a Canadian city...charged USD. No, they couldn't change it. Had to cancel. Tried again indicating CAD. Surprise...they could do it...only for more money obviously. Got there. Yes...reservation was there. Between the crackheads in the parking lot, the power outage with no emergency lighting ( they used children's glow sticks) and the 1.5 hour wait in the adjoining Denny's...in sweltering heat....naah...won't be ever doing that again. EVER. Was very happy to see the last of that place.

We had an unplanned stay due to Covid issues. The room had garbage on the floor under the desk. When we pulled back the covers the bottom fitted sheet wasn’t even around the mattress on one corner. The mattress pad was all wrinkled under the sheet. The shampoo and conditioner were not full bottles (did not even have enough for one shower and there was 2 of us). I pulled out the hair dryer and the black bag it was in was full of dust as had hair stuck to it. The toilet was wobbly and loose. There was a major “soft” spot in the shower, felt like you were gonna fall through. The TV had disgusting finger prints all over it. When I mentioned all these things at the front desk, all I got was a “sorry” from the girl, it did t feel genuine. The manger on duty didn’t even come out to talk and no discount or anything was offered. I wasn’t looking for a free night or a discount but an offer of something would have been nice.

An older hotel that’s been nicely remodelled. The tower building has been converted to rental apartments so only the main building (floor 1 & 2) is the hotel now. I booked an upgraded corporate king room on the 2nd floor, be advised there is no elevator but that was fine for me as I like the privacy of an upper floor so I was willing to carry my bag upstairs. The manager was very helpful when I temporarily misplaced my credit card, in fact all the staff were very nice.

We stayed 1 night at Sandman and it was good. 2 queen beds and room was a decent size. Good shower and bathroom was clean. Block out blinds and quiet area so sleep quality is also good. There is restaurants and cafes in the area as well so location is ok. It’s a little out of the main area of town. Free parking is also a bonus. Overall our stay was good and we’d stay again.
