Sea Spray Inn

Reading some the reviews, I realized that the Sea Spray is not going to make everybody happy. It is old school Florida, but it was clean and located in a fantastic area close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. I could see where the one window unit AC could have a tough time keeping up with the south Florida heat. We enjoyed it, the staff was very friendly and made sure we were aware that they would be gone after 6pm. Not a problem, would stay again.

A nice surprise in a quiet neighborhood within a block of the beach in Vero Beach. An older establishment, it has the quirks of any older building. The tiny tiled bathroom had plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Dryer are provided. Sleeping quarters are quite clean, ours large with a comfy king bed, 2 rattan sitting chairs plus a table & chairs for eating. A kitchenette w/ med fridge, apt size stove, sink, microwave, pots, plates, utensils, detergent. Small TV, no phone (you've got your own, right?), rectangular pool we enjoyed - even in Dec, Beach towels and beach chairs available and even a room w washer/dryer available for guest use. Very nice staff at the front desk. A great value.

I love the Sea Spray Inn. I stay here whenever I am in Vero. Great location right across from South Beach. Rooms are not fancy but have everything you need. The Staff is awesome! I recently bought a house in Vero and I will miss staying at this classic venue!

Several years ago I stayed here while in town for business and I gave this place a 5-star review here on Trip Advisor. Since then, I always looked forward to the opportunity to return. Last week, I got my opportunity while I was back in town for business. My company usually recommends that I stay in a “name brand” hotel while on business, but in this case I insisted on staying at this charming property. Since my previous stay several years ago, I was happy to see the place is still the same quiet and relaxing oasis. In fact, management has kept the place in great shape with a few renovations and new finishes (paint, etc.). The accommodations are very comfortable, including a kitchenette with a stove, oven, fridge, and microwave, pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. There no need to leave this place except to stock up in groceries at the supermarket close by. The pool is clean and inviting (open 24 hours as long as you’re quiet— no loud parties at this place). And it’s a short walk to a beautiful beach— always a must for me. Just as important are the people who work here. Leslie and the entire staff are friendly and always happily willing to make sure your stay is most pleasant. They obviously take pride in this hidden gem, as they should. I can’t wait to return yet again!!!

This was a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. It reminded us of visiting your grandma’s cottage house. It’s a block away from South Beach and a pizzeria. I stayed with my 3 children ages 17, 15 and 13 and we all loved it! We walked to the beach but there is also a large parking area so you could drive if you prefer. We also walked to get pizza and salads each night. If you’re looking for lots of nightlife you won’t find it here! It’s a quiet, relaxing area and feels very safe. Please note... if you’re the type of person/family who needs all matching dishes, brand new everything and room service this isn’t the place for you. It’s cute and quirky. All the rooms are different. We had a corner room on the second floor which had a separate bedroom with a queen in addition to the main living area which had two queens and a full kitchen. The room was super clean, super nice and quite large. There are beach chairs and towels available for you to use for free so no need to pack those. We would stay here again in s heartbeat!
