Great apartment! Value of money!!
We stayed for two days and we felt like home! The receptionist was very polite and very helpful. She provided us with a map and marked all the sightseeings we had to see during our staying!!! She also recommended to buy breakfast from Aldi store, which was about 100-200 meters away from the residence. And so we did! You can find every kind of snacks in great prices! We couldn't believe that with 1.5€ you could buy sweet and saulty snack (donuts*2 and cheese snack)!!! In terms of room comfort, we were really pleased!!! Nice kitchenette with all amenities. Boiling device, oven, fridge, freezer. Also, a comfy dinning table and of course a large bed with extra pillows as I had asked!!! The toilet was ok but big. It was equipped with washing machine and guess what else...! A washing dose and softener!!! Wow!!! Didn't expected it!!! Overall, i can say that it was a value of money!!! And let me tell you one last hint. It is near the train station and very close to the entrance of the city!In my opinion, it is preferred to reach the center of the city on foot as to check by yourself the local stores! If you are not a walking type, you can buy bus tickets from the tobacco store, about 100-150 meters from the residence, 30-50 meters before the city entrance!
Large adequate flat
We had an overnight stay in Verona. The hotel is located about 20 minutes by foot from the main landmarks. It is situated in a rather unattractive but fairly convenient area: there is an Aldi supermarket very nearby. Checking in was quick and parking free - always a bonus. The flat itself was roomy (we had a 2 bedroom flat for a family of 3) and good value for money. It was clean but fairly basic. We had an issue with the shower: water from the shower head was pouring over the rather small cubicle: it needs to be modernised. Bring your basics if you intend to use the kitchen (washing up liquid/tea bags/coffee/oil/ vinegar / etc... are not provided)
What a lovely place to stay at!
We stayed in here for 4 nights and were very pleased with the accommondation! General things: Reception - The reception was open 24h and served us well. They gave helpful tips during our check-in and helped with problems during the night. All the employees were very friendly! Rooms - The rooms were VERY spacious.. We had a kingsize bed, a great kitchen with a gas stove fridge and a freezer, a bathroom with a laundry machine, 2 big balconies a second floor with a bed for one and tons of living space. The rooms were very clean and quiet. There were some tiny ants running on the floors tho.. (dont leave any food into their reach, they took over my handbag when I accidently left a pack of salami in there) The room had an Air condition in the room right on top of the bed, and it worked really well! Wifi - The wifi worked really well even in the top floor (7th floor) and it was free Location - The location was good, there was a very nice, big and cheap supermarket just 5min walk away. You could either take a bus (10mins) or walk to the heart of Verona. The bus tickets were 1.30e per one ticket when bought from a tobacco store (plenty of those nearby)
Very good
We stayed here for 6 nights as a family of 4 and it was big with 2 bedrooms, large kitchen and bathroom and living room. Location is about 10 min walk to Porta Vescovo train station and 5 min walk to bus stops to centre (just go through the old gate to Porta Vescovo stop A). There was a new restaurant opening just 2 mins down the road when we left. There is an Aldi 50 m up the road. The hotel offers free bike rental too.
Spacious apartment within easy walking distance of the old city
We stayed here for 2 nights when we came to Verona to visit The Arena to see the opera. There is a 24 hr reception who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We had an apartment that would have slept three. Very basically equipped for cooking (not a problem as we were so close to restaurants) but there was a washing machine, which after a 3 day drive through France and Switzerland, I took full advantage of! There is an Aldi about 500 meters away and the arena, restaurants and sights are about 30 minutes walk the other way. Excellent value. Would recommend!
