La Gerla Blu

I made an unplanned visit when my car broke down nearby. I was greeted warmly in the evening by the lovely inkeepers. The room was a lovely mix of eclectic and antique furnishings. The bathroom seemed brand new and shower was fantastic. They booked me a good restaurant. The next morning I woke to a delicious spread of home made cakes, cookies and pastries as well as local cheeses and cured meat. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this bnb and I hope I have the excuse to go back there one day!

A lovely B&B, spotless, well decorated, gracious hosts and the best breakfast layout! Highly recommend. We stumbled on this place after a long day of driving and wish we could have stayed for another day or two. Lovely region. Town has an excellent restaurant.

Driving to Milano decided to explore the mountains. We liked this area, so walked into La Gerla Blu, making the reservation on the spot. Lovely owners, clean and bright rooms, and delicious breakfast! I later found out I forgot my favorite vest, and they will be sending it to me! My favorite hotel this trip!

I am very familiar with Verzegnis surroundings and i have slept on different places in the area. This is with no doubt the best one and will be my choice for my future visits. La Gerla Blu is new and spotless clean. It is owned by Oscar and his lovely wife, and it is always rewarding to see the passion with which they run their property. Rooms are spacious and individually decorated with the local style and by local carpenter. my preference goes for those with the balcony. Beds and pillows are very comfy. The tiled stove in the dining room is a piece of art :-) Very nice bathroom amenities. Especially for those travelling on business, the wifi works well. Free parking available for the guests. Breakfast worth a big mention: everything is fresh and home made with zero-mile products: cakes, cheese, cold cuts, bread, juices, fruits, marmalades, croissants, krapfen ...also with a selection for those facing issues with gluten. They have the so called 'taverna' that can also be reserved for groups of at least 8 people (up to 20 i think but not sure ref. the max capacity) that can be rented separately for lunches, dinners, soccer matches thanks to the huge TV. The owners will also recommend what to do, see and dine around ...do not hesitate to ask for advice and they will be more than happy to be of help. The building is right in front of the church of the neighborhood of Chiaulis ... and the only minor downside is that, despite the soundproofed windows, some might be bothered about the bells. That was not an issue for me and i am not a deep sleeper. Than being said, La Gela Blu is definily worth the stay if it happens to b ein the area and feel pampered into Your home away from home. Bravo!

This was realy our most wonderful stay in a hotel/b&b in years. The service was amazing, the interiour was realy oustanding cosy and the breakfast was more than delicious. Fresh products and selfmade cakes and tarts. But the owner ...she was so nice. That is how a host should be... what a warmhearted and friendly person. She made our stay perfect. I had a smile on my face from the beginning till the end.
