The hotel was great. We found the location was excellent - everything near. Had a junior suite and it was roomy with a separate lounge. The bed was very comfortable and we found the staff helpful. We liked the restaurant food it was good and inexpensive.

Nice hotel & restaurant but...

The hotel was in a great location just off the Camino. We had a triple room that was large and with a fridge. The bathroom although beautifully designed was totally impractical for people sharing a room. There is no door just glass frosted panes if glass so you need to be comfortable seeing and hearing each other’s business! The restaurant was lovely, really good food and great value, as was breakfast. My issues is why advertise a pool if you don’t actually want people to use it. You have to buy a swim hat and pay to rent a towel as well as a deposit for the towel. It’s not really a perk if you have to then pay extra to use it....

Excellent centre for our walking break in north Portugal

The staff were very friendly and so attentive. Meals were very good, would especially recommend the chef's suggestion which varied every night. Location was ideal being near to the bus and railway station. Rooms were comfortable. Really would recommend this as a base for exploring the area

Nice place to stay in Viana

Hotel Rali Viana have a very friendly staff who will do all they can to insure you are comfortable. The rooms are very clean and the beds confortable, and the room has a heater/air conditioner. The hotel has an Italian style restaurant, with good food and good local wines to accompany. You cannot go wrong by staying here.

Camino stop

A group of five Canadians stopped here on our walk of the Portugués Camino. The staff were very accommodating and the dinner was excellent. A good selection of wines also made the experience all the better. Comfortable, well stocked and accommodating made our stay a five star rating.
