Hilton Vienna

La cama era muy cómoda, la habitación limpia y bonita, el baño me encanto, sobre todo el espejo con luz led. Las instalaciones perfectas, ofrecen agua y manzanas en la recepción. Queda muy bien situado. Como punto a mejorar diría que la atención de algunos recepcionistas.

The hotel is very nicely refurbished. I used to stay there 2 years ago and the hotel gave a tired and run down impression. Though, the renovation is amazing and done in a very tastful way. A reason more that I was so surprised that there is no airconditioning in the room (or it is broken). I changed rooms but with the same result : 28 degrees (celsius) and very unpleasant, even more because the windows only open a very tiny bit. The only solution is opening the front door of your room in order to get some air. Very unpleasant, mainly when you have to spend whole evenings in your room because of the covid lockdown. Check if there is airconditioning before booking as there were some nice spring days with sun outside and then the room changes in a sauna. The breakfast is excellent, a la carte with very friendly service. Though keep in mind that breakfast can take everything between 15 minutes and 1 hour. The 2 waiters are doing their utmost though if several guests arrive at the same time, they are overwhelmed. At 2 occasions (I stayed there a week), I had to leave before my food arrived. In 1 case, they brought it to the room though which was highly appreciated. The other time, I had a meeting outside and had to leave after 30 minutes waiting. Nobody to blame, just good to know that you have to take your time. Also mind the Hilton Honors points calculation which was a total mess up in my case. I merged 2 reservations in 1 stay and (as happened before at Hilton), their system clearly cannot cope with this kind of simple transaction. Result : only the points of the second reservation arrived on my "bill". I also want to mention the excellent measures to contain covid in the hotel. With clear rules and spotless execution. Conclusion : great location and great hotel. Though, the the airconditioning issue is a no go for my future visits.

This is a standard Hilton hotel in a central Vienna location. Staff is friendly and eficient. Rooms are OK, nothing special. However, the room ventilation / overall HVAC seems to be rather old and started making a lot of noise during the night - not good. I stayed there during Corona which limited the hotel in many ways: breakfast at the café was à la carte and very, very good! All in all a good, albeit very standard hotel.

I stayed here for just two nights on a business trip. The location is perfect; close to the inner city and all the shops and transportation. Although the hotel was partially under construction, there was really no disruption to any service. I got to stay in one of the renovated rooms with fab views of Stadtpark! The breakfast selection was overwhelming and amazing. I highly recommend it and will stay here again when returning to Vienna.
