This review is for the staff. I’ve been there before when I was in Laos. I wanted to get more info bout quarantine. Googling some direct hotel websites didn’t have much info. But Best Western Vientiane did so I reached out and Kris answered me right away. Price online is for 2 people in double room so if splitting cost seems reasonable as it’s a chain I’m familiar with compared to some Covid-19 Quarantine hotels in Vientiane. I’m usually worried about issues arising but with a chain there is a head of franchise to talk to. Kris said you wouldn’t be able to leave the room but includes meals and a 24 hour reception and yoga mat and. Could order booze and outside food as the front desk would drop it to room. Downside is that you can’t book through Agoda for the quarantine deal but have to book directly and can pay by credit card.
E for Effort, Great Location, Great Staff, The Hotel is showing its Age,
If it wan't for the staff, I would think this hotel deserves a markdown. The room is very nice and quite large. On check-in I had an air-con that sounded like a motorboat, so they upgraded me, thanks. However the things that tick off frequent travelers happened, a complex TV cable system, two remotes and a required tutorial, could not figure out how to get the hot water in the Shower, and the AC was barely cool at the lowest temperature. Breakfast was very weak, hostel style. Fitness center was a joke, looked abandoned. The location is top-notch and the staff are incredibly helpful, in the end the hotel is itself is a classic style, marvelous wooden floors, spacious, friendly, which I loved. However hotels need to be comfortable and that was really lacking with the basics.
Huge room. A bit aged.
I’ve stayed here before and was happy to return. The staff are excellent, location superb, room extremely spacious and with hardwood floors, professional and competitive transport for around the city. It is in need of a bit of refurbishment. Shower in particular would be too low for tall people. But just the staff, location and spacious room push up my rating.

Manager Sarah was very friendly, helpful & nice. I had a problem in my room, was not completely clean, ant & mosquitoes found. I did complaint & Manager Sarah took care right away. She was wonderful & very nice
Nice clean place to stay that is well located
Nice place, nice helpful staff and a few minutes walk to the night market. There is a little gym and a pool: the pool seemed to always be very cold. They have a free shuttle to the airport which was very convenient.
