Great location
Location is very good,a short walk into the old town or to the beach where there are allocated sunbeds.It’s a nice sandy beach and you have to wade out a bit to swim but it doesn’t suddenly go deep so it feels safe for swimming. Hotel very clean, attentive and courteous staff. Great stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights and felt like we were in home Beautiful and charming and great location. The active staff and friendly every time they meet us. Felt welcome and cheers. We had a good experience in Vela Velo . Thank all people.

Vela Velo Hotel is fantasti close to the beach, 20 minutes from Vieste town and short driving distance from Foresta Umbra. The owner and his staff are very, very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is great and cappuccino fantastic .
Want a hotel 5 metres from the beach?
If being close to the beach on a budget is on your checklist, then Vela Velo is the place for you. Eight of us stayed there in late August just for a night and were happy with our choice. It is right opposite the beach and included in the hotel room rate is the ability to use the hotel's private beach area with sunlounges and umbrellas. I shared a double room with air conditioning which cost us 10 euro extra. The room was clean with a good shower and bathroom. Our room also had a TV. We paid 70 euro for a double room which included breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was served in an outdoor garden area which was off a bar and some indoor tables, and comprised of a choice of toast, ham, cheese, croissants, yoghurt, sweet biscuits, cereal and pieces of fruit. The person manning the bar made coffees on request. The hotel is about 1km out of the centre of Vieste which makes a pleasant walk. The hotel also provides bike access as well as clothes drying racks to hang your bathers and towels on and a jacuzzi which we didn't get a chance to use. There is also parking for those with cars.
Best hotel in Vieste!
I stayed here with a friend and it was fantastic! The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect. If I come back to Vieste I will definitely be staying here.
