Spring Break Salerno
Very confusion initially trying to find Andrei and his residence room. We eventually found him like half an hour later and got to the room and stayed for two nights. We hiked at one of Salerno's interesting trail to get to the mountains to see two towns. It was cool. Despite the roads being terrible like 1 - 1.5 car space driving to get to his place driving up hill majority of the time, finding his place and the stay was good. It was clean and peaceful as well in a small village. I enjoyed the stay for the two nights.
Clean, modern, beautiful
We stayed in the yellow apartment which had a large balcony overlooking the pool and amazing views. I would recommend this apartment as it seemed to be th biggest and was lovely/clean. The town is small with a nearby shop and bar. The local restaurants limonta and La Fattoria especially were amazing! The hosts so kind and welcoming and the food wow! Pasta is amazing and fish tastes beautiful. We hired a car and exported Amalfi Coast and sprento. Try the local wine at La Fattoria only 6 Euros a bottle. The host Andrea and his wife could not have been nicer and cannot do enough for you.beautiful pool area which we had to ourselves and amazing Italian experience.
Lovely peaceful place
Really clean and modern apartment. We stayed in the 'Blue' apartment. Andrea was a great help during our stay. He went to great lengths to show us around the apartment and surrounding areas and explained about parking and the small village of Benincasa. The apartment was very well appointed with a great shower. Views were superb although there is no balcony area for the Blue apartment there are 3 large windows. One thing to note is there is no oven in the apartment but we cooked on the hob. The pool area is great and we pretty much had it to ourselves during our stay. Wifi was good in the room and by the pool. I must also recommend 2 restaurants close by. Ristorante Al Limoneto and Ristorante La Fattoria, both superb, authentic and a must visit.
Very enjoyable place to stay
We stayed at the red room at Zelzar. Breakfast was good. Parking is a little troublesome but within a couple of hundted meters. Andrea is a great host. Excellent location. Great pool. Good quality for a fair price! Reccomended!
Superb
Room was lovely ( green room) fantastic view from the balcony which is the main feature. Shower was lovely, nice comfy bed,, great location for exploring the Almafi coast,, pompei etc,, we had a car for a week which we prefered although you can catch a bus outside, super market just up the road which sells most things, fantastic restaurant a bit further but is walkable. Andrea the owner is very welcoming & friendly and will help you with any info you need. Only thing lacking was some drawers to put your clothes in tbh,, very minor,, all in all a fantastic place.
