A nice hotel which offers a good level of service, clean in all areas, friendly staff. Food that we experienced was good. Pool was nice, felt a bit cold but okay once in was good actually. Plenty of sun beds.

My wife and I just returned from a short trip to the Algarve and we stayed at the Ananatara for four nights. We normally try to avoid staying in a hotel for anything over a few nights but I have to say, this hotel easily met our expectations. Many hotels meet a high standard of facilities but the Anantara's best quality is the superb service of the staff. They were exceptional: in the restaurant, by the pool, in reception at the front desk and at the door/car drop=-off area. Thank you Elodie for your follow-up on the missing credit card! We recommend highly.

Fantastic Hotel with top class service

We had an amazing ten days at the Anantara. Truly the jewel in their crown is the unbelievable staff who really make this hotel a five star location. We were so well looked after it, and no request was too great. They also took care of any little issues or hiccups with the utmost efficiency. A special mention has to go to Fernando the sunshine butler who is a joy to be around, is so efficient and dedicated to making his guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible and is a true asset to this hotel. The only tiny criticisms we had was the limited menus in the evening at the Victoria and bar restaurants. We had our 16 month son with us and so would have loved more variety of options so we could have dined occasionally at the hotel in the evenings rather than going into the Marina. Also a little music or something to bring atmosphere to the lounge in the evenings would have made our stay that bit more enjoyable. Yoga or group fitness sessions by the pool would be great! Overall a fantastic holiday, highly recommend the Anantara.

Great as always pity about the Irish golfers staying making far too much noise. The staff are great and the breakfast is one of the best you are likely to receive. Pool and all of the facilities are in great condition

This was just amazing 10 days stay at Anantara Vilamoura. Third visit and it just keeps getting better and better. They throw 5 stars around these days but this hotel exceeds all. The door staff outstanding such a credit to the hotel, reception welcoming knowledgeable friendly. Best breakfast ever. Pool area quaint more like a wedding venue with a pool. We´ll be back.
