Gem of a find

We stayed here after reading the positive reviews, we do not normally do self catering but half board in a hotel, not any more! This place is a gem we didn’t book breakfast but just had it on a day by day basis when we wanted it which was great. Buffet style breakfast with a mixture of fruit/ cereals/ yogurt/pastries/ breads and cooked breakfast. We stayed in a studio apartment and would do the same again it had a small kitchen area which was adequate. Towels were changed daily if needed and the cleaning staff do a fantastic job as everywhere was spotless. Some people previously said there was no WiFi however there is free WiFi now and air con in the apartment. We didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening but we had lunch there which was good and the pool bar was great too. We used the shuttle bus put on three times a day by the hotel to the marina as it is quite a walk but we did do it twice as it’s flat but took us 45 minutes. We also used Uber to the marina which cost £4 cheaper than a taxi. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and lots at the marina. We will be back again next year definitely.
I can’t find any negatives but I would say maybe there needs to be more sun beds as there wasn’t quite enough on two occasions we wanted them.

Perfect break. From arrival to departure, this facility was excellent.
Our welcome was faultless, our apartment was clean and serviced everyday. Everything you need for a self-catering stay was there.
Swimming pool was large with pleasant surroundings and plenty of beds.
ALL of the team here are brilliant and they will all ensure your stay is as good as it can possibly be.
Local Spar shop 5 minutes walk with cafe on the side is very handy coffee & Portuguese croissant (filled with cream) €1.50 & the finest ice-cream I’ve tasted.
We will return again for true value for money and relaxation in this clean and homely place.
Ideal for a low cost getaway!

Stayed here for 7 nights in late September. Room was clean and had everything we needed for self-catering. Staff were friendly; pool was lovely; hotel was located near a bus stop for travelling into Vilamoura, Faro and Albufeira. Would recommend for a low cost getaway :)
Home from home

We have been visiting here for so long that we regard it as a second home. It’s such a peaceful place. The grounds around the pool are quite big, with plenty of sun beds and plenty of room to comply to social distancing.
The rooms are spotless and well equipped for self catering stays.
The staff, who we class as friends, are a credit to their manager.
Masks are worn by the staff all of the time and guests are required to wear them when walking around the hotel and grounds. When relaxing on your sun bed or having a drink or meal the mask is not required.
The hotel was not as busy as usual for this time of year, understandably, but that did not mean that there were any changes to the normal day to day operations, there was still a full menu from the snack bar and the restaurant and the bar was fully stocked. As a previous poster mentioned there was no entertainment because of the COVID restrictions but that did not stop us enjoying our stay.
There is a bus that will take you to the Marina or the beach but we didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel.
While we were there we booked to go back next year. If you want a good, restful break away from it all then I highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Nice complex of apartments. Myself, wife, brother and sister in law spent a week here.
Our apartment was a floor down from the top and was huge. 2 balconies overlooking the rear of the complex, one from the large bedroom and one from the large living area with a very good equipped kitchen. All the utensils were clean and plentiful. There were pots and pans, glasses, cups, toaster, kettle, microwave, basically everything you would need for a self catering holiday if you didn't want to eat out. Both balconies had a table and chairs. The apartments were cleaned every other day, clean bed linen and towels if required. Safety deposit box was 12 euro with a deposit of 20 euro, returnable ,for the week.
My S in Law and brother were given a basement apartment which involved climbing quite a few stairs and lacked natural light. They asked to change and this was sorted out very promptly. The girls at reception and the gentleman were very helpful.
The complex was very quiet, due to the current covid situation, but the staff were very helpful and cheerful. They were all very conscious of health and safety, wore masks all the time and kept a safe distance according to regulations. We felt completely safe here.
The bar was open daily and they were serving food all day. We ate here a couple of times and it was very reasonable. 7 euro for a buffet breakfast and a good varied menu for lunch and dinner. The drink prices were reasonable, 3 euro a pint of super bock, 3 euro for a 250lt bottle of Mateus wine. There is no entertainment on at the moment, apart from a tv playing music and the occasional sports events. The bar staff are very friendly and also knock up a decent cocktail. You have to wear a mask when at the bar or in reception. You don't wear it sitting down at the tables eating and drinking.
The pool was clean, as was the pool area. Plenty of sunbeds, all in good condition, umbrellas and small tables. The only let down was the grass area around the pool was absolutely soaking every day, especially first thing in the morning, your feet actually sunk into the grass. I don't know if they had a problem with the watering system, but you will get muddy feet or muddy flip flops around certain areas. This is the only reason I've given 4 stars.
A courtesy bus will take you to the marina or the beach 3 times daily with pick ups as well. The bus is limited at the moment to 4 -5 persons ( due to restrictions ) but the driver will come back and pick you up. Takes about 10-15 minutes per trip. If you get a taxi back from the marina, ask the driver how much roughly before you get in. The most we paid was 9 euro.
There is a spar supermarket about 10 mins walking distance down the road if you need to stock up on anything, there is a bar/cafe next to it for refreshments, before heading back up the slight incline to the complex.
