More about the hotel
Better on the inside
We were there for a 5day stay Monday-Saturday. From the outside and hallways place looks oldish but once you get into the rooms, mind blown. Very spacious with full size appliances. We had the 2 bedroom which is actually 2 rooms a deluxe 1 bedroom and a 2 queen 1 bedroom. Extremely clean too very well done 👏 The beach is only a block away. Outside pool is awesome with really warm water great for cool to cold October days. They don't have many indoor amenities but they have paired up with The Beach Quarters Resort across the street which has indoor gym, pool and a bar. The staff was amazing! Everyone was helpful they even had a security guy run us extra toiletries and towels at like 11pm in the night!!! All in all great place and would definitely visit again.
Family fun
Turtle Cay is an excellent place to stay with a heated pool. One block off of the beach. Nice staff and a great location with great views. My family is really enjoying time away. Accomodating staff who aim to make your stay wonderful.
Wonderful
A very nice hotel offering suites with full kitchens. Beautiful pool area and all the amenities of the Beach Quarters resorts are accessible too. Staff was awesome, anything you needed they had to your room within 20 minutes. Highly recommend
Worst Hotel ever!!!!
This was the worst resort that I ever visited. Employees were very rude and didnt wear masks. Not very clean or safe. Not a resort I would want to bring children. Virginia Beach atmosphere is not friendly. Its all about $$$$$.
It was okay
I came to Turtle cay with my in-laws and it’s my first time here at Virginia Beach. The rooms are nice expect the fact that there’s dust all over the walls and ceilings, the dishwasher doesn’t work, the mattress are horrible (you sink right into them), and the shower heads will blow you right out of the shower. I’m not a pool person but they have signs all over to social distance near that area and wear masks. Although I’ve noticed that all the staff members don’t wear masks. The area is a little shady. When there’s no room in the parking lot, they make you go to a parking lot across the street which isn’t the safest place to leave your car. At night time they zip tie the pool area closed (which has the steps leading to your room) so you basically have to walk around the whole resort to get back up. All in all the place was average and I probably don’t see myself coming back here
