OK ... But Not as Good as Previous Visits
We have been there a couple off times over the last 3 years. We got a good night's sleep, with no noises heard ... this was the most important thing. The beds were clean and the bathroom too. There were furniture nicks, scratches and dents ... and a chunk taken out of bah door (some repair was attempted). Did not seem to be as clean, overall, as the last visits. It appeared that employees did the right thing by wearing masks, keeping proper distance, etc. They were very polite. TV was a bit hard to use.
Great stay!
The stay was awesome! And Alicia was extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. She deserves a 10 out of 10. The rooms were clean and the service was outstanding. And the price was incredibly affordable! I am glad I stayed at this hotel.
Great Place
The staff was great. Check in was easy and fast and my room was very clean. The room had a full size fridge that was a great thing to have as I had a lot of left overs from my function that I could heat up the next day. I would definitly stay here again on my next trip to Richmond.
Very low Standards for a Candlewood
Housekeeping never once came on the day they was scheduled, when the cleaning was complete only changed the Towels. I stayed for 3 months and the billing was always early or they would skip a week and they would double up .It took several visits to the office and Emails to get the bill straight upon Checkout.
Team went the extra mile
After travelling about six hours and meeting some friends, I began to feel ill. I checked into the Candlewood Suites Richmond Airport to get some rest, hoping to feel better soon. This was not to be. Four days later, I started to feel better. During those four days, the staff at this property bent over backwards to see to my comfort and well-being. Their actions during my illness went over-the-top of expected, normal customer service. I have long been a fan of the IHG Candlewood extended-stay model of hotel properties and have never failed to receive good service and adequate accommodations. The value I received at this location was much better than good and adequate; it was excellent. I cannot name just one team member for outstanding effort, so I hope that each one of them be especially recognized for helping me get through a difficult time.
