Château Julie

We highly recommend this small hotel surrounded by vines and countryside. Close but not too close to A 10 , so convenient for travelling through France. Comfortable rooms good size and clean bathrooms. Yan and Linda looked after us very well! Breakfast was excellent. We were going to book a local restaurant but we’re tired after driving 875km. So yan offered a light dinner made by his wife. Very good with an excellent bottle of red Château Julie Bordeaux. If you want a varied menu best to book a nearby restaurant. However for simple dinner well worth staying in! Good parking and safe. We highly recommend this country hotel.

Me and my family's stay at the Chateau was absolutely wonderful! The room was big and clean, and had a gorgeous view on the vineyard. At our stay we had 0 noise problem, and so it was truly peaceful. The petit déjeuner was very nice and gave lots of options to chose from. I have personally been to hunderds of B&B's and hotels around the world but have never met a host/owner as kind Mr. Yann, who also made a great recommendation for places to visit. Mr. Yann made our stay one we will never forget!

I can’t rate this hotel any more, this is a plus 5 star. On the drive up to the Chateau, you are met with a beautiful chateau. Well kept grounds away from the hustle and bustle. Yann took over this Chateau in 2017 from the previous owners. Wow he has done a good job. The hotel is spacious, clean, historic and well another world. Wi-fi and plenty of parking available. Our room was on the 2nd floor that overlooked the beautiful vineyard. This room was a double, however the size of the Room was enormous with an old fireplace. Yann has kept a lot of the original features. Bathroom was large, very clean and bright. After staying In 9 hotels previously to this one on a bike tour, this by far had the most comfortable bed of all, clean and comfortable bed linen. Just perfect. Yann does not have a restaurant, however there are a few around after a very short drive away. Because we were on motorbikes he was happy to just make us a snack til breakfast. What a star. Such attentive, hard working young man. Breakfast was lovely, continental, croissants, ham,cheese, cereals, great bread, yogurts and cherry’s for the tree outside. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone. We will definitely return. A MUST STAY!!!!

Chateau Julie is a family run hotel, so the services are relatively simple but the confort and the setting is superb. What you need to know: - the building is beautiful - the staff friendly -free wifi - good breakfast -free parking - very near the motorway PS: if you like my review click OK!

We arrived after a long day of travel. We spent late afternoon sitting on the back patio area drinking wine from the chateau and simply relaxing. Seemed we had the whole place to ourselves. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. We would echo the positive comments by others. The chateau is in a super location. Most of all it was quiet. Our room was large but could have used a few more electrical outlets. The bed was okay. The breakfast was great. Overall Chateau Julie is a worthwhile consideration for touring the area.
