We were actually given a voucher for a couple of nights. It took us 8 years to finally use them, but it was so worth the wait. Because of covid concerns, staff contact was minimal which was totally understandable. We had the code for the front door and clear directions to our room which was all we needed. The room was spacious and still somehow cozy. On the first morning, we were greeted in the dining room by a wonderful member of the staff and served a delicious made to order breakfast which set us up for a great although rainy day of sightseeing through the valley and up to Burlington. Returning to the inn that afternoon felt like coming home. After another completely different delicious breakfast and a warm send off the following day, we checked out the round barn before heading home. It's amazing what you can build with a few hundred sticks!

As Vermont residents we have previously stayed at the Inn and others in the Mad River Valley. We have always been impressed by the quality of the facility, services and staff at the Inn. However, during our overnight stay on 3/22 although we were very pleased with the accommodations, the breakfast was substandard. There were few guests eating in the AM, but the eggs were runny, the waffles were cold, there was no fresh fruit available, no maple syrup offered, and generally poor fair. There are certainly personnel challenges in the industry, but for the price, and as compared to other inns, this was disappointing.

Amazing stay!

We got married at the Round Barn 2 and a half years ago and had an absolutely amazing experience. We were gifted a night for our 1 year anniversary, but due to covid our stay kept getting canceled because they were closed. When they finally reopened they gave us a free night's stay to go along with our one night that we booked. The Inn staff is so kind and delightful! The breakfast is absolutely mouthwatering amazing. The rooms are beautiful and we loved walking the grounds and reminiscing. That you Round Barn Inn for an amazing stay! We hope to be back again soon!

My husband and I got snowed in here for two nights over our anniversary. From a stressful ride up in inclement weather, the staff was most accommodating. We were happy to book a second night because our great experience we had on the first night. Great breakfast as well! Highly recommend a stay at this inn.

Perfect Winter Midweek Stay

We booked the English Room, it’s got a beautiful & comfy four poster king bed, in room propane fireplace and plenty of room to spread out. Breakfast was excellent and huge . Waffles & omelettes one day, blueberry pancakes & eggs Benedict the next. Self serve Vermont Coffee Company coffee and juice bar..super friendly staff, game room we took advantage of and got to meet Robert who’s been with Round Farm 35 years. Exceeded our expectations in every way. We skied at Sugarbush and ate locally. We haven’t stayed at an Inn in so long and we loved it.. The area is quintessential Vermont. Loved the bathrobes and luxe towels.. Lots of hot water and it was different having the place to ourselves the first night but will totally recommend. See you next year;-)
