The location of Star Inn makes it the perfect place to enable have easy access to any part of Salzburg. Located close to the historical sites of Salzburg, you can walk to any site and it's very safe. Relatively small but neat

We were there 2 nights and both evenings airco tripped under massive heat and too low settings apperaently by cleaning staff? Don't use set points of 10 degrees, 22 degrees would be better for a start. Breakfast was OK. Reception staff, especially the evening shift was excellent. The tripped airco was fixed in minimum of time. Beds is too small esplecial the mini sized blanked. Please buy better ones in IKEA or so. The empty little refridgerator was much appreciated with even small cooling capacity. There is a penny super market next door. And a austrian Aldi called Hofer with a massive outlet center at walking distance. Bring the car how ever. Very cheap gasoline at discount gasstation next to the Hofer supermarket. Like to go to Prague from here? Dont drive over Linz! The E55 or before you get there is difficult. You find out. better go back in to germany. I was adviced by hotel staff to do so but was stubborn. Visit Salzzburg by bus. chjeap tickets at hotel desk. Thois hotel has free parking. Any worries, ask reception. Very helpfull. Salzburg is a great city and this hotel is a good point to visit it

Breakfast is extra money and this otel is inside a Business center it is like a hostel but Free wifi is available. But when we went and checked in one personel was not polite but room was clean it is close to airport

Loud, noise from 7am!!!

I stayed here because it’s close to the airport, so I thought I could get some rest ahead of my flight. Absolutely NOT!!! There was a crazy loud gardener, with electrical equipment who came every morning at 7am!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! I left not only tired, but with a terrible headache. No phones in room either, so I couldn’t phone reception. I had to get dressed and speak to reception. It stopped from 7:30-8 and then started again!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Ps I have recodings of how loud it was!!!

writing this review for a friend who have been there but do not use TA. Very nice, easy connections to the centre with the busses. The staff is nice too, Salzburg is a very nice city. My friend enjoyed his stay a lot.
