Very underwhelming experience.

Dated hotel, ridiculous breakfast offering, Marijuana smoke in hallways and in the room, hair in the bathtub and toilet, and noisy other guests made this stay unpleasant. Staff was nice, but definitely disengaged to what is going on with their business.

This hotel is not up to par. In my building, there was no elevator. It's pretty painful and difficult to haul 2 suitcases, a backpack and a handbag up and down the stairs when you have arthritic knees. The hotel charged me a $200 security deposit for potential damage. This is a non-smoking room. Entering the room, there was a strong odor of vaping. I found a red Afro braid on the carpeting, cooked rice on the kitchen counter, grease on the stove top, cracked bathroom sink with an open hole, melted plastic grid over lights in the bathroom, scotch tape on the mantel and thumb tacks on the wall. Out of 4 building on this property, only 1 building had an ice machine. The sheets and mattress cover would not stay on the lower left corner, revealing a huge blood stain. On the 1st morning, a large wasp was flying around the room. When the wasp was near the window, I went to open the window and discovered it had been wide open all night! Perhaps the previous tenant had to open it to hide the vaping smell. Hotel had the audacity to charge me extra for a small safe in the room which I did not use. I would never recommend this to anyone.
Hmmmm, not sure about this place!

We selected this hotel because of the price special offered on a popular hotel site. We got here and immediately thought it was sketchy by the appearance of the parking lot.. The checkin process requires a $200 deposit, your license plate info and a review of all these rules and regulations with initials and signatures. Driving around to our room, we noticed one room window busted out, trash in the parking lot and uncleanliness. But we decided to give the room a try due to the rate we got. They assigned us a room on the second floor. We took the elevator that was just filthy. The carpet needs pulling up and replaced. The buttons and walls need cleaning and sanitizing. We got to our room and was pleasantly surprised. It was decent. Clean linen and somewhat updated. The toilets are those low toilets and the caulking could use some bleach. But it’s just for a night. Praying for a peaceful night of rest.
I’ll visit Everytime

This facility was probably a very nice place, about 25-30 years ago. I'll start with the good. Front desk staff were polite. The room itself was VERY dated. Ancient furniture. Despite their alleged aggressive non-smoking policy, my room reeked of cigarette smoke and cover up freshener, and more smoke was coming in through the bathroom vent above toilet. I let staff know, and emphatically stated I wouldn't even THINK of paying a cleaning fee for an already bad smelling room. I just needed a place to sleep. Having spent 30 years in the military, I can sleep anywhere. Bed was OK but linen was old and threadbare. Bathroom surprisingly intact. Not one USB outlet anywhere for charging devices. Old lamps had plug sockets for conventional two-prong plugs, but no USBs. Rug has numerous cigarette burns, hadn't been vacuumed as there was small pieced of debris laying around. They have a very unusual $200 cash or credit card mandatory deposit requirement upon check in, stating that you won't be loud, make any disturbance, or have too many people in your room. THAT wasn't made known upon making reservation, or else I would have never stayed there. Facility has individual buildings with rooms in each. Access to upper rooms by external stairways. They were the skankiest and filthiest areas I've ever seen in a hotel. Also dimly lit or no lighting at all. VISITOR BEWARE! These outside areas are perfect places for muggings!! I was on my guard at all times. Internal hallways reasonably well maintained, but room occupants just left trash outside their rooms that was not picked up in the two days I stayed there. They have a 15 minute rule, that is not explained at check in, to turn down your room. By the time you get there and figure out where the cigarette smoke smell is coming from, your time to get the heck out is expired. Despite their $200 no noise policy, party goers abounded, and my calls to the front desk were never answered. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! At least I got my $200 cash deposit back. No telling how long a credit card deposit would have taken. Oh, one last thing! Their ATM was out of money if you needed cash for the deposit. I normally do not carry a wad of large bills with me, so I was just barely able to make the cash deposit.
