We travelled and spent the night after a wonderful visit to the WB Studios for The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour. The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly. Very family feel, lots of families with young children assuming this is due to the HP studios not being too far away. Excellent location. Train station behind for those who want to travel to London city. We checked in late and decided to stay on site for our evening meal. I ordered the Rump steak which was excellent. Breakfast was also amazing! Would definitely recommend and return.
Cleanliness not to a high standard

Cleanliness was not up to the high standard as advertised all around the hotel. One of the “clean” towels in the bathroom was solid! Did ask to speak to the manager at the time we were checking out, the excuse given is we handle thousands of towels per day and get the odd mouldy one. It certainly wasn’t mouldy. Given we was a family of 3, only 2 cups were in the room & only enough tea/coffee/sugar for 1 drink. We checked in late so wasn’t able to park on site, the evening staff at check in was very helpful & even came outside in the rain to direct us to alternate parking. Is a great base for having visited Harry Potter studios, also local to the train station.

This is our fourth time visiting the hotel; the previous occasions were to visit the Harry Potter Studio tour but this time we used it as a base to explore London. The location of the hotel is good; right by the train station. Parking is limited, and the car park itself is extremely tight for space. I must say, the hotel has gone downhill since our first visit 5 years ago, when it was relatively new. We were given a small, corner room on arrival (for 2 adults and 3 kids with a travel cot). We did complain about this, and were moved despite the staff claiming all rooms were the same size, which is not the case as the second room was nearly twice the size. The room itself was in need of a good clean, carpets were stained and the smell wasn’t particularly nice either. When I asked for an extra pillow for the travel cot, I was told they didn’t have any extra pillows and, in the staffs own words, we had been given ‘our allocation’ which I have never known before. Luckily, another staff member said they would bring one up, which they did, although it was half the size of a normal sized one. Breakfast was chaos, and I do feel like they could introduce a booking system as it feels like a free for all and not a pleasant experience. This will most definitely be our last visit to this hotel, which is a shame as the location is very convenient. I do feel the staff could be a bit friendlier and hospitable, and more helpful. It’s a shame as we have enjoyed our previous visits to this hotel.

Well it was easy to find. Very limited parking. Very clean inside. Reception were ok but not very cheery. They didnt have the travel cot I requested, but found one, which my mrs found a wooden skewer in, which could have been dangerous. Family room was very large inside and appeared very clean. Breakfast was decent with plenty of variety. On the whole cant complain, plus its not far to harry potter from there
Perfect 1 Night Stay with Breakfast and Paid Parking

Small car park around the back of the building £7 per night. Tight parking spaces. Paid and registered at reception. Hotel 2 miles away from Harry Potter Studios; about 45-50 minutes walk, or 10-15 minutes drive. Breakfast/Bar/Restaurant area on ground floor near reception. Breakfast 06:30 - 09:30 AM. Continental breakfast, plus bacon, eggs, sausages, and beans. Gluten-free bread and cereal, and soy milk available upon request. Tea/coffee stations in room. Also kettle/hairdryer/iron. Stayed in room 415. View overlooking the main road, and driveway. Quiet when window shut. Hand wash, shower gel / shampoo from a dispenser fixed to the wall, no lotions etc. Water pressure in shower adequate. Room just enough space, clean and smelled nice. Comfortable nights sleep. 2 lifts from lobby to hotel room floor; both worked. Room key card needed to activate lifts from entrance. In room WIFI with password from reception. Good signal. Hand sanitizing station around communal areas. Staff wore masks. Very knowledgeable staff at reception (Justyna). Hotel located just off main street, less than 5 minutes walking distance to takeaways and pubs. Also about 1 mile away from a leisure center / shopping center so encountered a bit of standstill traffic in getting there. Close to a train station if arriving that way. Overall, would recommend and would stay there again.
