Too loud to get any sleep

Decent location. The room is kind of weird. The desk is in the far corner. No easily accessible electrical plugs at all. Had to crawl underneath the desk to plug in my laptop. Everything else (phone charger, etc) had to be plugged in the bathroom. Next to the desk is a large wooden cabinet with the fridge and microwave. It’s a large fridge which is nice. The microwave works. Then on the other side of the fridge is the tv. Can’t see it from the desk which is annoying. The hallways smell like weed. I had to sign something saying I wouldn’t smoke in the room. Why isn’t marijuana treated the same way? That stinks just as bad. Sign on the back door says it is always locked for safety and you need to use the room key to get in. Nope. More like the door is never locked. Real safe. I was instantly annoyed by a stompy jerk upstairs. Initially thought it was a kid running around but at 11PM it was still going on and I swear he was deliberately stomping. It shakes the whole room and the AC/heater doesn’t drown out the noise. What a nightmare. Not sure if the AC/heater was working properly. It was set at 63 degrees when I came in and not very cool in the room. After I took a shower I switched it over to heat and it didn’t feel very warm. Then at midnight someone checked into the room on the other side of me. Bam Slam. The doors here are really loud when they shut. To make matters worse, a dog started barking loudly. Again, it's after midnight. The disrespect of dog owners is unbelievable. Horrible sleep. Stomping woke me up at 6:30AM. Keeping the bathroom fan on all night did not help muffle it. Could not keep the AC/heat running constantly to try and muffle it either. That wouldn’t have helped much though. At 8:30AM the dog started barking again. Apparently the owners left for breakfast and the dog barked the entire time they were gone. This is EXACTLY why hotels need to stop with the "pet friendly" nonsense. I was there to get some sleep. Not be kept up by barking dogs. Will not be returning to this motel.

Pleasant check in and check out. Very acceptable breakfast for the price. Excellent value. A/C worked perfectly. Spotless room. Well groomed property.. well light parking lot.. excellent location Highly recommended.
A bit expensive for what you get.

Only two hotels in this small town. This being the only one that accepted pets, we had to go with this one. Hotel is older, no elevator. We had to make many trips up and down the stairs to bring in our luggage. Sheets seemed clean.
So disappointed in COVID policy

Though the room and hotel in general seemed clean and safe, neither staff nor many customers were wearing masks---NEVER saw the staff wearing masks despite the notice on the front door requiring this.
An average stay

Staying here was an average experience. You do get what you pay for. Dated decor, thick dust behind the furniture (seen while looking for outlets), lack of outlets, no charging stations, exhaust fan not in service and an old furnace. Other than that it was quiet and inexpensive. No frills if you just need a place to lay your head at night.
