Very Suitable Stopover

We chose this for a one night stopover as it was dog friendly. We arrived on a Wednesday which is their day off. We received clear instructions to pick up the key directly from Booking.com. The room was perfectly suited and quiet for our stopover and we had a lovely walk down to the river and along the cycle path in the evening sun. Friendly service in the morning at check out and although we didn't eat it...the breakfast looked and smelt tasty! The wifi was slow but that might be because of how rural we were.

We stayed here during a bicycle trip along the Weser. The gasthaus is located directly on the bicycle path in a beautiful rural setting, even thought it's close to the road as well. The esplanade of the hotel is a gathering place for cycling and motoring tourists as well as locals, and the dining room inside is spacious and simple. The food is very good and features local ingredients and very fair prices. The hotel itself is incredibly charming. The rooms are clean and neat and well equipped and many of them look out on the back of the property over farmland and the river valley. The amenities are great including complementary access to a beautiful sauna. The hosts are friendly and clearly longstanding managers of the property and services. For bicycle enthusiasts, I can't imagine a better place to stay at very reasonable rates.

Sehr gut ausgestattete, gemütliche, komfortable neue Wohnungen im Nachbarhaus des Hotels. Es fehlt an nichts und die Lage ist ideal für Kanutouren, Wanderausflüge und Radausflüge im herrlichen Weserbergland. Das Haus liegt ideal mittendrin und mit den herzlichen freundlichen Gastgebern und Mitarbeitern fühlt man sich sofort angekommen, wohl und entspannt. Das Restaurant bietet gute, bodenständige Küche, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter -- einfach nur herrlich und einfach gut. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder und können nur empfehlen, hier zu übernachten.

Leider nur eine Übernachtung auf einer Fahrrad Tour. Wunderschönes grosses toll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Abendessen mit regionalen Produkten. Ich hatte ein paniertes Schweinekotelette wunderbar mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Frühstück war sehr lecker mit hausgemachte Wurst. Fahrrad abstellen war auch kein Problem. Immer wieder gern auch als Startpunkt um jeden Tag was anderes zu sehen.

Ich habe im Gasthaus zum Lindenwird auf einer Radtour übernachtet. Großes, tipp-top sauberes Zimmer mit viel Platz in sehr ansprechenden Massivholzmöbeln. Klasse Bett. Auf dem Flur gab es einen Wasserkocher - tolle Idee. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit modernen Polstermöbeln, Literatur und Getränken wirkt einladend. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich problemlos unterstellen. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und hell mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service. Auf der Karte finden sich regionale Produkte vom Wurstbrot bis zum Rumpsteak, auch interessante vegetarische Varianten. Richtig klasse war der Wellnessbereich: 2 Saunen und eine große Terrasse sowie genügend Liegen in einem sehr gepflegten, hellen Ambiente.
