Great hotel!

I just stayed at the Avid hotel while picking up my son at Miami University. I think we have found our new place to stay when we visit. The hotel is clean, quiet, and safe. The staff are professional and friendly. Kat at the front desk was especially helpful. Plenty of nearby restaurants. 40 minutes from MU but worth the drive. We will be back.

Long drive and wanted quiet

We were driving home from Florida and usually stay at Holiday Inns. We have tried AVID’s twice now and are very happy. We have found AVID’s have Comfortable beds, rooms very clean, and rooms were very quiet! Breakfast was good and the coffee was really amazing!!!

Great stay. Quiet and comfortable rooms which are very contemporary with wooden floors and a very comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. Nice little gym and common area. Easy check in and out. On a quiet road. Brand new hotel with plenty of free parking.

The hotel is a newer hotel and very clean . The staff was great from check in , to housekeeping and checking out.. I stayed in a double queen room which was mobility accessible because there were out of the standard double queen. The room was very large as well as the bathroom. It had a roll in shower with a detachable handheld shower head which was fine. The only thing was tv didn't have any premium channels. In all the room and hotel was quiet and excellent would definitely stay there again

Kings Island Trip

We stayed here overnight while visiting Kings Island. We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the park and restaurants. It's a bare bones hotel nothing fancy about it. But it was great for a quick overnight. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, hotel and room was very clean, breakfast was grab and go but still offered hot biscuits (sausage and cheese). The room itself is rather small and tight but the bathroom is rather large- I loved the shower but no tub could be an issue for those with small children. They have JR Watkins products (attached pumps) so that's a plus!!!! My only complaint is no coffee in room. They do offer self serve coffee/tea 24hrs a day in the lobby. We chose to go to the nearby Starbucks though.
