I booked a little weekend getaway for my husband and on from March 25, 2022 to March 27, 2022. The decor in the lobby and downstairs hallway was nice. I booked a King suite with a jacuzzi through Priceline and was told at the reservation desk that the service isn't capable of booking the jacuzzi suites through their website. The attendant (Sarah) said that there was an upcharge to make a king suite a jacuzzi suite but that fee would be waived because I wasn't getting what I was expecting. I appreciated that because the jacuzzi was one of the main reasons I booked that particular hotel. When we enter the room (Room 328) it was exactly what we were expecting. The big was inviting and the jacuzzi was beautiful! I went into the bathroom and saw that there were no towels or washcloths. I called the front desk and a different attendant answered, immediately apologized, and told me he would be right up with towels and he was. I was surprised on Saturday after we had gone out to dinner that our room wasn't cleaned at all. I guess I assumed that they had housekeeping staff. They had a marquee advertising for housekeepers but didn't think they didn't have ANY housekeeping staff. Our bed wasn't made, everything was left as it was when we went to dinner. Yesterday I saw in our bank account that the hotel had charged my debit card $30 on Saturday. When I called the hotel and asked about it, I was told then that the hotel automatically "holds" thirty dollars on everyone's account but it should be returned in 3 to 5 days. I would have appreciated it if someone would have told me that. As I am writing this review, the $30 has not been put back into our account.

Do not stay here unless you are looking for old, dark, dirty and falsely represented. Pool closure was blamed on covid but it needs a lot of work to even remotely resemble the photo on the website. The whole experience was very disappointing.
Skip this hotel!

I booked this hotel because it has a pool, but the pool is closed. Ok. Then, we got to the room. I reserved a king. This room has a king and a full, I guess, but there are only two of us. The room entry light is burned out, so we to go find a lamp to see to come in. The bathtub has moldy caulk all the way around! The sink has a bit of slime around the drain. The bathroom door hits a bump in the floor when it is halfway open, but you can get it to move anyway. What you can't do reliably is get the door to stay closed! I would have gone back to the desk to request another room, but I was too tired and grumpy to deal with it! Now, I'm writing this review as the toilet keeps flushing periodically, and I can't get it to stop! Something randomly beeps, but I don't know what. Maybe it's in another room. Earlier, someone kept honking in the parking lot trying to get someone's attention. I could hear people talking outside and we're on the second floor. I checked to see if the window was open. It wasn't. The sheets are scratchy and the pillows are pretty flat, too. The room has a microwave and fridge and coffee maker. There was an arcade and a restaurant we passed on the way to our room. The lobby looked opulent. They need to spend money on their rooms!

Nice accommodations for over night. Clean room and nice staff. It was close to the event I was attending. I am staying there again this weekend. Hopefully will be able to check out the other parts of the hotel.
This was a very unpleasant visit

The check-in/departure experience were fine but this was not the stay we are accustomed to. We were charged $355 plus taxes and fees. The pool area was closed, there was no room service available and I called the front desk to ask if the restaurant was open and was told no. I was not advised whether it would be opened over the course of the weekend or not. None of the usual amenities were available for us but there was no discount given or any incentive for staying or returning. I understand we are still in the midst of the Covid pandemic, however, guests should not have to pay the normal full price for a hotel stay with a less than pleasant experience. We had a more pleasant experience last year and the restaurant was open the entire time we were there. The front desk representative told us to go to section H, go up the elevator to get to our room. We walked for 5 minutes to the other side of the hotel whereas we were actually in section E, up the stairs and our room was 3 doors down. Why have us take a less than pleasant scenic route? Furthermore, the door to that section was not closed properly which meant the security was severely lacking. This definitely needs to be addressed in order to maintain the safety of your guests. Our guest room was just okay but had not been cleaned properly. We could tell some type of party had taken place because there was confetti all over the floors, the chair and the jacuzzi tub. The hotel needs to be updated, it's dark and the decor is of yester year. My husband and I have been coming to this hotel for over 15 years and we have seen it go downhill each time. We have tried to maintain a loyalty but are well past the point of finding somewhere else to go. By all means, do better by your guests.
