Excellent Customer Service

My wife injured herself while we were vacationing in West Palm Beach. She required surgery to repair a broken left leg and broken left shoulder and a hospital stay of 12 days. The staff at this Residence Inn went above and beyond to ensure we received the accommodations necessary for my wife which included a handicapped room with a walk in shower. Two staff members were extremely helpful: Kasi (Guest Services Representative) and Xavier Jackson (Assistant General Manager). Thank you for your help getting through a very stressful and difficult situation.
Home away from home

GM is great! Jacob Wagner, thank you!!! I am taken very good care of, the staff is warm and friendly. I just moved from NJ to West Palm Beach, and was a bit nervous about my extended stay at an unknown place. It feels like home away from home. I am enjoying my stay here and would return here in the future and highly recommend it.

Filthy, dirty hotel. No buffet breakfast, only grab n go. Gym closed, whirlpool closed and pool is dirty. Suite is dirty, trash under kitchen sink, ice machine bucket dirty, tub has peeled paint, needs re-glazed. No shampoo or body wash in the bathroom. Windows needs cleaned outside and inside. Outside building and pool deck need power washed. The Residence Inn Palm Beach Gardens is five star property & this place is a one star dump.
No notice about fitness center being closed for renovations!!!

I travel for business and choose my hotels carefully to be sure they have the amenities I need whether that be included breakfast, free parking or, as every Marriott should have, a fitness center. When I asked where the fitness center was I was told it was closed for renovations. I know it doesn’t matter to a lot of people, but this is a HUGE deal for me. Usually if a property has amenities down, there will be a notice at the top at booking or an advance email. There was neither. I could have chosen from many other Marriott properties nearby including a Springhill 2 buildings away, and I would have not booked here or changed my reservation had there been any notice about NO GYM!! As a Titanium member, the Springhill next door wouldn’t even let me use their fitness center! I had to pay out of pocket and drive somewhere to accommodate what should be part of an included daily routine. It’s fine that they are renovating, but to not provide advance notice about it or a day pass some where nearby, is inexcusable! I have been to other hotels without a fitness center and they usually offer a reciprocal arrangement with a nearby gym if they can’t deliver promised amenities! That is the least the hotel GM should have done, or offered a credit for the amount I had to pay to go to a gym. I will never stay at either this property or the Springhill next door ever again!!! All that said, the room was fine and the woman working the front desk was wonderful and helpful!!!

Has anyone from Marriott ever seen this hotel?? It doesn't meet Marriott's standards. How could it be a Marriott?? It is shoddy, grotty, feels unsafe and nothing seems to be working and is just dirty. The front desk actually sends gusts next door to the Holiday Inn to use their computer and their printer as the one in the hotel has been "out of service due to Covid". Really disappointing. And breakfast . . . . . disgusting - Breakfast in a Bag. The experience was incredibly disappointing.
