Very Attractive Property
The decor is up-to-date and everything is squeaky clean. The staff was friendly. Bedding was nice. They furnished us with grab-and-go breakfast because of Covid, but it was adequate. They're following all the Covid rules so we felt pretty safe.
Cleanliness Issues
We stayed here for one night while passing through the area as it was a good stopping point on our way to Memphis. Sadly, we were disappointed by our stay. Upon arrival just after 7:00 pm, we noticed that the lobby was dark and most of the lights were turned off. We didn't see any signs requiring face masks or social distancing and only one staff member we encountered (out of five) wore a mask during our visit. Caution tape blocked off the breakfast area. If an alternative breakfast option was available, we weren't told about it. Rooms are updated and comfortable however, housekeeping efforts seem to be lacking. One of our pillowcases had an odd purple stain on it and the top blanket had several black stains. The front desk was able to give us clean pillowcases and then we discovered another stain on the comforter later when we were getting ready for bed. Bottom line, the hotel itself is in good shape and is easy to access however, cleanliness and Covid-19 protocols are lacking which will likely lead us to look for another option the next time we're in the area.
Not the same Quality
This is the 3rd year in a row we've stayed here. This time we were disappointed in the room. 1st floor rooms must be getting a lot of use as this room was looking very old and rundown and the sheer curtains were disgustingly filthy and stained. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Next year we will ask for an upper floor room AWAY from the road.
Good and clean hotel
My husband and I were traveling so we stopped at this Quality Inn for a night. The place was well light and felt safe. It is away from the busy part of town but still close to places to eat and a Wal-Mart. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Our room has a beautiful vaulted ceiling. It made the room seem so big. The bed and furniture was classy. It seems the hotel has been updated. This was the best Quality Inn that we have ever stayed in. There was no breakfast available but that is due to COVID19. The pool was open during our trip. I highly recommend this hotel to couples, families and single ladies traveling.
sufficient
They charged $5 extra per person even though our room had 2 double beds so we had to pay extra for my mom coming with us. The guy at the counter was nice though. Our room was clean and comfortable. This was our first hotel trip since COVID and we were visiting with my son and his fiance and their newborn baby. Of course, the pool was closed and there were just donuts each wrapped in plastic wrap. I don't know why (for now) they don't just buy the pastries that are already wrapped. It seems like that would be more efficient and safer in my opinion. We did have to complain because the first room they put us in smelled like smoke but the front desk guy gladly offered to switch our room. I called my daughter to warn her not to take that particular room if they gave it to her because she was also staying at this hotel to visit her brother and family.
