OK, not great, not horrible
Went for a long weekend with our baseball team. Less having to beg for towels, and hotel staff putting out 5 breakfast sandwiches at a time, only one "lady" was rude. Games rained out one day, and the team was beside the building playing kickball under adult supervision, and got kicked out of the parking lot?!? Not really sure how that became a thing. She also decided to begin taking everyone's picture in the lobby screaming we were not social distancing properly. This was however, only one sour employee. Everyone else was courteous.
The hotel is relatively new, but that doesn't excuse the poor housekeeping
Upon check-in, I was placed in a room that did not have any toilet paper (I had to find a housekeeping cart and get it myself), had one packet of coffee, which was decaf (I went to the front desk and asked for some), the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and your choice for breakfast was a muffin or an orange. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for business travel.
Don’t stay if you’re concerned about Covid
Hotel itself is fine, nothing fancy, everything works, clean enough, etc. However, some of the front desk staff at night give zero F’s about Covid. A couple of them didn’t have masks when checking in customers and there was only one hand sanitizer dispenser (which was filled at least). When I checked in, the woman was nowhere to be found for ~8 minutes. I know she also has obligations in the back office/maintenance but a bell or something would be nice. I will say, the younger gentleman working Saturday night was always wearing a mask and was very courteous. Good location and amenities but disappointing for someone who has stayed at a lot of Marriott locations this year.
Clean hotel, but NO breakfast as advertised!
The hotel was clean, staff was nice. Although the pool is very small, the pool area has nice furniture and is very clean as well. Pool towels can be requested at the front desk. My only issue is their so called breakfast! They advertise free "breakfast", but its nothing more then a muffin in a paper bag! I understand with this whole covid thing going on, but no need to advertise free breakfast if you're only giving out an unhealthy snack... Also, during the covid period there is no room service...Anything you need just ask for it at the front desk.
Overnight Stay
Despite Marriott's questionable policies on refraining from providing their typical breakfast and coffee for guests during Covid, property Mgr (Claude) went above and beyond to ensure that this frequent traveler was not disappointed. Rooms are beautiful and super clean. Venue is close to highway if your travelling on 95, its super convenient.
