More about the hotel
Great Hotel, Great Location
Very happy with our stay. The location of the hotel is great being in West Yellowstone and just off the main drag so it is a little bit away from the busy downtown area but still within walking distance of everything. The “Covid-friendly” breakfast was excellent. A bagged breakfast, which included plenty of food, was provided each morning from the very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The rooms very nice with plenty of space as well. Would definitely stay again.
Great location and base for Yellowstone visit
West Yellowstone is a great base for visiting Yellowstone National Park and the Best Western Weston has a great location in the town. It’s on the edge of town but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. There is an outdoor patio for carry out dining and a large park across the street. The grab and go breakfast was very good with multiple items in the bags. Coffee was available 24/7 at front desk, we just needed to ask. Being virus sensitive, there was no daily housekeeping, but we could request anything needed. I felt the hotel and grounds were all very clean, a staff member was cleaning outside windows while we were there. Our room was large and included a microwave and refrigerator for the breakfast items we could not eat in one sitting. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I would definitely stay here again as we were very pleased.
Super clean and accommodating!
We initially booked a dog friendly room but ended up not taking our dog on vacation with us. When we arrived, the older gentleman in front of us was throwing a fit over being charged a pet fee. As it turned out he had used a booking site not associated with the hotel and didn’t book a pet friendly room. He was extremely rude to the young man at the front counter, who was doing his best to stay calm. Anyway, we offered up our dog friendly room to get the process moving along for everyone. I like to think it worked in our favor because we got probably the cleanest and quietest room I have ever stayed in! Also, where most hotels are not offering breakfast, this one had several options for “grab and go” which is appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.
Very nice stay in every way
We booked our stay back in August right after becoming Best Western members so we could receive members rate. We are here now in a lovely room with 2 queen beds for $125/night + tax. The key to a great rate is becoming a member and booking in advance. We’re here a total of 3 nights to tour Yellowstone National Park. Everyone who works here has been super nice and helpful. Even with COVID, we feel safe because they are following all the rules and everything is very clean. Breakfast at all hotels right now is “grab & go” where we pick it up from the front desk every morning - an assortment of food items in a sack with hot coffee, milk & juice on the side. We even received a couple of savory individual quiches for our microwave that are actually good. This location is great for walking to restaurants and other shopping. I recommend this hotel.
$200 a night for a motel room was more than I was expecting for late September
West Yellowstone has always been an expensive place to stay. I thought it would be different in late September this year, but it wasn't. The room was just ok. It was large, but dated. The service was polite and fast.
