I stayed at the Westin in Westminster CO more than 10 times this year and each time it got progressively worse. I was repeatedly given excuses and promised that things would improve, but they did not. The last two visits with this hotel were absolutely horrible. Indeed, the customer service provided in response was so bad that I am obliged to write this review to warn potential customers not to stay here. Illustrating this point, the time before last during my stay there was an argument that broke out between people staying near me on the top floor that continued to escalate in the common hallway disturbing everyone on the floor after midnight. When the dispute continued for about 20 minutes and did not stop I tried calling the front desk to ask for help but nobody would answer the phone. After 3 calls I finally got the front desk to answer and they informed security would be sent up. An hour later, when the arguments had spread to numerous other guests staying on the floor, I tried called the front desk back, and again it took several calls to get anyone to answer, which was infuriating. I was again informed security would be sent up, but the disturbance continued for about another half hour, preventing anyone on the floor from sleeping well into the morning hours. The last time I stayed in mid October, the power and water went out in my room and apparently many others, shortly after 5 pm. Again, no one at the front desk would answer the phone and the Westin did not take any steps to inform guests what was going on in any way. Having no other option I contacted the Marriott Bonvoy customer service only to be informed that they could not get anyone to answer at the hotel either and to stay in my room for safety and security reasons. I spent the night in a cold dark room finally losing power to my phone that could not be recharged. The power and water were not restored until the following morning, and I had to take a cold shower that morning. Upon departing there was no explanation provided, but I was assured that I would be taken care of for the extreme inconvenience. However, the Westin merely added the points that they had used from my Bonvoy account to compensate me for this horrible experience, but the hotel has failed and refused to do anything further to compensate me for the scary situation which was the most unpleasant stay I have ever endured at a hotel. I would not recommend this facility to anyone!!!

Beautiful property. Great views. Front desk / check in needs help. Busy day / time to check in on a Sat afternoon. Barbara checked me in with an upgrade to a Mountain View / corner room. I’m titanium in a pandemic year and lifetime platinum. Get up to my room and it’s a connected room. Middle of hallway. Not corner and kids running up and down the hallway. Noisy as heck. So, back to the front for a new room, see Barbara again. This time she tells me I have a corner, Mountain View room. For sure. I specifically ask is it a corner room ? Yes, absolutely. Okay. Get up to my room and no it’s not a corner room. By this time, I have spent 2 hours trying to check in. And I have to get ready for the wedding I’m attending so that was my room for 3 nights. Not sure why the check in person had to mislead. Other than that. Free water, great breakfast staff. Beautiful views. Mattress was a tad saggy. Spilled water in the room. Put a towel on the rug / floor to absorb it. Filthy as heck. Ergo the average rating.

Westin Westminster cancelled my reservation due to having no electricity and no water and will not respond to Hotwire via phone or emails to refund my room. We have stayed here in the past and had a great experience but their lack of response is completely acceptable.

Had a great stay while in town for concert at Red Rocks. It’s a quiet hotel with close free parking! Had breakfast at the restaurant that was good, but took some time so don’t be in a hurry. Everything was clean and enjoyed our stay. Nice areas nearby for shopping or walking around.

On a extended weekend get away, I reserved a room at this hotel with two beds. I called ahead because I was arriving late and was told by a female staffer that she was reserving my room as we spoke (there was a stated rule per the third party hotel site). The hotel was nice both outside and inside. Check in was easy, but no bottle water provided to us. Good: The hotel is next to the hockey rink; and, across the street from a mall with restaurants all around, including inside the hotel. There is also a Starbucks on premise. The drive into Denver or National Park is not bad. The view from the room was of the golf course. Cons: Very little is open late. And, I suggest that you confirm your room size upon receiving your keys; they may get it wrong like mine. And, check the bedding (which is common, I think). The room appeared clean and did not smell like smoke, but there was one bed. I went to the front desk and the two male staffers acknowledge other customers had stated the same that they were told by a female staffer that their room was confirmed and reserved. But, they did not change my room, the hotel was full; so instead they said that they would change the room the following day. Neither male staffer changed my room the following day. What they did was upon my visit to the front desk was have housekeeping come clean the room and changed the unclean bedding. The bedding was not as clean as I thought. There was a old yellow stain and red ink mark.
