Not the best. Not the worst

Believe I read a review this property was recently renovated. They did a poor job. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Walls are paper thin. Bathtub had a crack big enough to feel it. Mattresses need replaced. We both woke up with back aches. The carpet in need of being shampoo and stretched. The interior aesthetic was pleasant. And felt safe at all times.
First time visitor

Not impressed with this hotel. First time I've stayed at a super 8, don't think I'll try another one. Went to room, opened it and discovered a king size bed, which desk clerk told some registering at the same time as me they didn't have king size beds at all! Why lie about something so insignificant? After I got to the room realized the door hadn't shut all the way. The security guard was missing the part that goes over the hook that's on the door. Concern #1. Went to dinner, whole 'nother experience, at Jimmy's Diner down the street. Disappointed in it as well, but getting back to motel. Rushed to the restroom which I had to clean up. No toilet paper. Thankfully there was paper towels, but they aren't ideal for anything but the most insignificant event. Concern #2. Realized I had forgotten my key. Had to stop at the check in desk. The only question the clerk asked me was my room number. I was shocked that he didn't ask for my driver's license at least. Concern #3. Rushed to the room so I could get really cleaned up because of my personal problem. Discovered there was no bath mat. Concern #4. More concerning? No toilet paper to be found! And worse, the toilet paper holder was behind the door a good two feet from the toilet so one must stretch (exercise!) to get to the roll! Concern #5. While there were two bath towels, I didn't see any other linens. What happens when mom and dad with a child or two are given the room? Finally found two hand towels at the sink in the bedroom portion and two washcloths so thin Dollar General wouldn't sell them. Why do builders/developers think the best place to put a sink in a motel is in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom proper? Concern #6. The in room AC was blowing to 68 degrees! Colder than Alaska I think. Turned it up and it never seemed to get warmer. My feet were ice. My hands not far behind. Had planned to stay until Monday. Decision made for me. The bed was fine, but the pillows, all four of them, were so flimsy as to be a joke and not a funny one. BTW, masks were recommended. No one had them on outside of me! The Business Center was in pl ain view of anyone using the lobby for any reason. Breakfast, as a to go, was offered although I didn't take advantage. I can get better donuts at Lamar's down the street on the eastside.
Good breakfast, careful if you don't smoke

The staff was nice, and I enjoyed the food from breakfast which was varied. Nevertheless, if you are a non-smoker or have any respiratory problem you may feel uncomfortable staying here even with the prohibition of smoking inside the building.

Traveling home with my son from my grandfather's funeral left me needing a night's rest from our fifteen hour trip back home. I created a reservation for this Super 8 by accident when I needed it for a completely different city. I immediately emailed the hotel letting them know of my error and requested to have the cancelation fee waived since I had made it just a couple hours earlier the same day we would be staying. No one responded to my multiple requests, and so they ended up charging me the full stay instead of the cancelation fee. We never even entered this hotel, and I now I never will thanks for their unprofessional service.
If you want to enjoy your trip look for other options!

I booked a three bedroom (we traveled as a family) online before two months. I called the hotel one week before our trip to check if everything is okay. The lady confirmed to me that they have our reservation. At the entrance the first thing you get is a smell of cigarettes. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm(the stated check-in time) only to hear from the front desk that our room was taken. We had to wait for additional one hour to settle the matter and they finally gave us a room. Imagine you came a long distance with kids and you face all the hustle at the hotel. I don't recommend the place to anyone.
