Great location, fair prices, need better Covid practices
For Grand Canyon trips Williams is a great town to stay in and this hotel has a great location and is an easy walk to old town Williams. The rooms are clean yet we did our own sanitizing in addition. We did observe cleaning staff without masks. The check in process was easy and precautions were in place and used. However, the hand sanitizer stands were not always operational--that needs addressing. The breakfast buffet was closed with no adjustments made on room price or with individually packaged items. Other hotels made accommodations and offered limited items for breakfast in spaced and sanitized areas so that needs some work also.
Burned
The hot tub had so much chlorine in it, that it burned me and a coworker. I told the front desk and they said they would talk to maintenance and the next day the hot tub was shut down for maintenance. I was not offered anything for the burns or inconvenience. I was there for 2 weeks.
weekend get away
this hotel has a great looking lobby and all the hotel employee are friendly. the front is clean but the back needs work by the church there is trash and a window screen and seat cushions in the rock area. we rented a room with two beds and a pull out couch. The mattress beds where uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. are they new ? the pullout couch cushions would sink in if you tried to set or lay on it, the bathroom was nice. I liked the soap dispenser caddy in the shower but the shower head had low shower pressure, overall this hotel is good but needs a few things fixed to be great like high shower pressure/comfortable bed mattress/back of the hotel cleaned up.
Clean hotel
I am writing this review in my room here. I almost did not stay here because of some of the negative reviews, but I did not have a bad experience since staying at different locations. This hotel is very clean and quiet great location no breakfast because of Covid-19. That’s okay alot of good restaurants down town about 2 minutes away. Very comfortable and extremely clean beds. Appreciate the No Pets and No Smoking Policy due to allergies. PS Cleanest hotel of our past 6 States on our Rt. 66 Roadtrip.
Do not stay here
Far below my typical holiday inn experiences. Over priced, dirty, HARD bed (headache for 2 days after). Pillows suck. Oh-I’m A healthy 31 year old, can’t imagine actually having back issues! Not a new property- it’s too old to be new! Very misleading on their website. Just stay at La Quinta or in Flagstaff -_-
