Ok
Room was clean, front desk helpful and personable. The trash at the side door hadn’t been emptied and wasps were swarming the first night we were there, thankfully that was resolved. We stayed for 4 nights. After the weekend, the hotel was maybe at 50% occupancy. That didn’t stop them assigning a family with multiple small children to the room right next to us. Not thoughtful.
Worst experience EVER for a Country Inn! DON'T GO!!
The hotel is filthy. Numerous dead bugs on the floors (even right at the pantry door!), windowsills in eating area and were all still there 2 days later. No sign of vacuuming and the hallways were very stained, dirty, and littered with small bits of debris. The breakfast area was not cleaned and there was still food and forks left on the tables from the day before. The pool had a sort of soapy fluid on the top of the water, there was sand in the bottom and the pool filter was not running for the 2 days we stayed. When we reported all the sand, the agent told us "oh, that's OK. It will disappear"! The handicap transfer chair in the pool area is filthy and almost rusted completely through. The pool towels given by the staff was threadbare, had holes and was unravelling at the bottom. Our room smelled extremely musty and can't open the windows to air it out. The vent in the bathroom was so full of dust and dirt that it didn't function adequately. The hotel staff were not unfriendly but generally unmemorable. I would NEVER go to this place again!!! Ironic their breakfast selection is "COVID acceptable". (Very bland and tasteless) Nothing else certainly was.
Below Basic
This hotel was filthy. Carpets in hallway and room were disgusting. Toilet in my room flushed continuously all night on its own. I wiped down door handles and lamp with disinfectant wipes that came away filthy. Interior of room door was splattered with some mysterious substance. High pitched noise constantly. While staff wore masks and kept the breakfast room clean there was no acknowledgement of COVID-19 precautions. No sign upon entry requesting customers wear masks or maintain social distance. Smokers sat outside at entry door. A real dump! In my travel companions room the smoke alarm was covered with plastic and the phone had no buttons!!
Not worth it.
Honestly, this place isn't worth the money. The rooms are old and dated, the hotel itself is dirty (Which is not good considering the global pandemic we are facing) which makes me wonder if they actually sanitize anything at all. The rooms are filled with mold, and sheets, blankets, pillows were disgustingly dirty. The manager, I believe her name was Anne, was a NIGHTMARE! She acted like she didn't care about our issues, and just brushed them off. She's also VERY sarcastic. I can't believe Radisson allows this! Go to the other Country Inn & Suites. There rooms are incredibly clean, and the staff is wonderful. We will NEVER return to this poor location!!
Nice and cozy
The place was really nice and family friendly. Staff was great and the breakfast was very adequate. Many food choices and I was impressed they had vending machines and a laundry room. The indoor pool and fitness room was open although I did not access any of them. There were many families there yet it was not noisy and we slept well in the nice clean rooms. Well worth it.
