Fantastic suite with small but well-appointed kitchen. Full size fridge with ice maker. Beautifully decorated room with tasteful art. Super clean common areas. Felt like a high end lodge. Great friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly making it a perfect stay.
First time at a MainStay and I was impressed!

I am a Choice Privileges Member and so I have stayed at a lot of Comfort, Quality, Sleep, and Clarion Hotels. I had never chosen a MainStay mostly because I saw them as long-term places to stay. I only stayed one night but my room was incredible. I had a very comfy king size bed, and a fully stocked (beautiful) kitchen. It had a fridge, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, and sink. You could easily buy groceries and prepare meals in your room. My room also featured a pull out sofa bed. A family of 4 would appreciate a room this large. The bathroom was spotless and featured a walk-in shower. Breakfast was incredible even considering all of the COVID restrictions that hotels face. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. If you’re going to be in Williston, look no further than MainStay!

Clean is usually the first thing readers look for, and this property is meets the top standard. Parking lot, lobby, elevator, room, then back to bar area/breakfast room, in that order, all met the white glove test of this Platinum member. I'm not bashful about commenting on bad stays, maintenance issues, attitudes, but have no negatives here. Stayed on Manager's night which provided free lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, with a well-stocked bar. Tori hosted the evening and made sure everyone was happy. The excellent, hot, complimentary breakfast was the perfect ending to an overnight stay.

We spent about a week in Williston to visit family and MainStay came recommended to us so I called them up, asked a few questions and then proceeded to book our room online. I realized later that this hotel has a pet policy that allows for pets in any room (please do mention they are coming!). I am highly allergic to pets so I called and spoke to one of the desk clerks who assured me that they thoroughly clean the rooms after a pet has stayed and not to worry - they would be sure to put me in a room that had been pet free for at least 30 days. Upon arriving into town via Amtrak, we called to see if our room was ready yet (it was around noon, well before check in time) and they let us know that our room was being double cleaned at that moment to be sure it was as pet dander free as possible. They cleaned the carpets and wiped things down an extra time for me! Now THAT is wonderful customer service! Everyone was friendly - from the desk clerk and manager to the house keepers to the fella who was working in the breakfast room!! Breakfast was hot, fresh and varied each day! There is a manager supper on Thursdays which we were unable to take advantage of since we were visiting our family. Close to the airport and Amtrak as well as a full service grocery store to buy supplies for the very nice kitchenette with a full sized fridge, cook top, microwave and dishwasher! We'll definitely stay here again in the future!! Thanks, Williston MainStays!!

After staying in other establishments in Williston we settled on the MainStay Suites as our choice of destination. Hotel was warm and inviting. The breakfast room was one of the nicest we’ve experienced. The breakfast itself was very well done in a lovely setting. Real plates and silverware and a bar. On Thursday there is a reception in the bar hosted by the manager. The rooms were comparatively large with a small cooktop, a full refrigerator, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils. Quite well outfitted for an extended stay.
