Not impressed! The hotel is in desperate need of some renovations. The bathroom needed some extra cleaning to come up to Hilton standards. There were no USB plugs in the room at all. It was a good thing we brought our own USB plugs. The location is fine, and the breakfast was typical continental breakfast. The waffle batter was not even near what Hilton uses as their standard batter. I can't say that I've had a worse waffle anywhere.

Just stayed one night in Wilmington on our way to Myrtle Beach. We wanted to explore the downtown waterfront and visit Southport as well. The hotel is top notch, clean comfortable and modern. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. Annie checked us in and she was very helpful. Restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was included with our room. Highly recommend this property.

I made reservations at Hampton inn university to be close to the UNIVERSITY and visit with my grandsons. Friendly staff greeted me, offered me snacks to enjoy. Bed was very comfortable. Room clean as well as exercise room, lobby and areas for breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful, offering variety of choices.

I never fill these out, but I was SO impressed! I literally felt so welcomed that my daughter and I laughed that we were family! Thank you for an excellent stay. We will not stay anywhere else when in Wilmington!

clean hotel. sincere, friendly staff. overall wonderful experience. love wilmington and will absolutely be staying here on my next visit. close proximity to downtown, mayfaire center and independance mall. well lit and safe location.
