Clean, efficient, comfortable

Just what I expected. Stayed for a quick stopover and a road trip from Ogden Utah to Anaheim California with my wife and youngest daughter. Arrived about 10:30. Check in was a breeze. Got a great night sleep and a nice breakfast in the morning, then back on the road.
Hidden gem of Vegas

We stayed at this Springhill over July 4th weekend 2021. I booked on points because I needed to either earn or burn points to avoid forfeiting my Bonvoy balance. I'm very glad I chose this location. Looking up their cash prices, it is a bit expensive if you compare it to ordinary guest rooms, but what you get here is a very generously sized and well laid out suite. If you do have points, the value is excellent and I hope the point tier doesn't get bumped up in response to what a good deal it is now.
For the rest of the weekend we were at Sahara and the difference in staying at a casino resort and here at Springhill is night and day. Everything about this hotel was better than the Sahara, and you are practically at the same location. First of all, the included breakfast buffet is outstanding, and probably comparable to something you'd pay $20 for at a resort. I didn't feel at all like there were Covid cutbacks at the breakfast buffet. I hope this has not changed since our stay due to Delta variant, I feel like only having kiddie lunch bags at breakfast as a "safety" measure is no longer acceptable in Summer 2021.
The room is huge and if it were allowed I feel like you could sleep a family of 6 in absolute comfort. It almost is like a two-bathroom suite because there is one bathroom with a toilet and sink, and another with a shower and sink - nobody has to bust in on you during your shower for a toilet emergency. I really like that and Marriott should build their new properties with the same layout as this one. We only stayed one night but an extended stay here would probably be very comfortable (although if this hotel is still not providing housekeeping with Covid as the excuse at this point, I would take another star off for that - but they get the benefit of my one night stay). You don't have a proper cooking kitchen, but the micro fridge area is set up more like a kitchen and easy to use. The nearest shopping and dining is closer to Sahara, there's nothing right here by the hotel except a gas station.
For the most part the room was clean and seemed pretty new and fresh. There's a few weak spots like the shower and we noticed the HVAC filter was totally clogged and I cleaned it out myself (probably doubling the air output). I took 1 star off for this but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a bit more discipline with the cleanup and maintenance.
The rooftop pool is a fabulous amenity. There's also a fire pit (not in operation during summer when it's over 100 degrees) but sadly no hot tub. The views here are pretty good for the area (will be even better if Fontainebleu is ever finished). You're a short walk from the monorail. The walk to the Deuce bus would be short too, if the two nearest bus stops weren't closed at the time. Staff were nice. Elevators here are fast and have generous capacity so you don't have to wait for them.
Would definitely consider staying here again, although that is only if I can afford the points, I don't think I would spend this much cash.
Great location and price, but dirty sheets

Pros: Great location very close to strip and fast check in process, check in, cleaning and breakfast cleanup staff were nice, city view was scenic, studio layout is very practical
Cons: Sheets were not clean, had spots not only on sheet but mattress cover underneath, took over an hour to replace sheets and no other room was available, breakfast closes on the dot
Not clean , not recommended

We stay 2 nights , we made a mistake of not booking our hotel in the strip. This Marriott hotel is not as clean as I had hoped, the pillows are smelly, the bathroom and toilet are separate which is good but the toilet is smelly .
The light switches do not work , can’t control the bedside light.
The air conditioner control does not work for me either

13 minute walk to Tacos El Gordo then 30 minute walk south from there to get to Caesar's Palace. For us, it's most definitely walkable with nice weather. If you want a leisurely paced vacation or want to walk off the dinner at night, this is a good choice. Roof top patio was clean and quiet and the gym is very well stocked with equipment. Very easy to get rideahares. Acceptable breakfast options. You really can't ask for much during Covid. If you want something special, there are multiple breakfast places near tacos el gordo or you can catch a rideahare to the strip.
