If I could leave a zero I would
Specifically chose this hotel due to cleanliness rating and covid policy. Walked into to people checking in without masks and signs clearly stating that masks are required by law. So they have signage but do not follow them. People walking around lobby with no masks. Jordan... front desk attendant, did not ask them to mask one time. Next morning walked through lobby to leave and dent desk attendant Betty was not wearing a mask. Don’t say you are keeping people safe if you are not. Hugely disappointing for this chain.
Just another Joe
Decided to try a different place in Winnemucca... I travel here on business quite frequently. This time, however, my wife traveled with me. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk was marginally rude; certainly not friendly and courteous. The lobby was not clean, but perhaps with having a having a wet parking lot, it could be excused. The room was clean. But getting clean towels or any service after a three day stay - well it did not happen. We set out used towels in the hall - as was instructed, but did not get fresh ones in return. I used a hand towel so my wife could use the larger towel. It is unlikely I will return, for the money, it was not worth it.
Great staff!
The staff was very helpful during check in. We were there on October 30. I had a problem with my first room and they quickly switched me. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. I slept great and the shower was good too. It’s great to have the mini kitchen and full size fridge since we were traveling with our own food. My daughter left her AirPods in the bed and we were an hour down the road when she realized it. She called the hotel and the woman went to the room and had us on hold and found them! They are currently shipping them back to us! Thank you so much! We will definitely stay here again when traveling across the country.
Not good
Stayed here on our travels, we booked online, we had a choice between standard and queen suite, the queen suite was less expensive so we opted for standard assuming it would have 2 queens, wrong, should have went for the suite, our fault though for assuming. The room was way over priced. The refrigerator was noisy, no extra blanket, the coffee pot was messed up, I wouldn't stay here again.
Perfect halfway point for me and my dog
The place was clean and very welcoming. My pup was welcomed with open arms - there is a pet fee ($25 I believe) but they gave me a little tag to put on the door to let services know that there was an animal inside. Cozy accommodations. There were wildfires going on nearby, but couldn't smell anything inside the hotel. All the staff were wearing masks (COVID) and hand sanitizer was readily available for all. Felt very safe. Perfect halfway point between SLC and SF.
