Would highly recommend this hotel. Of special note, the check-in clerk, Kederson, was very helpful and professional. The hotel is well run and room was very clean. The location and access off and onto the highway is very good.

Toilet only flushed once in awhile, no clock, carpet had stains all over it! Window view of junk yard! No note pad or pen! Then they have the nerve to charge a security depost of $150.00 For a sub standard room!!!!!!

Good hotel, Great location

We actually booked this hotel for our visit to Salem, MA. It's about 20-25 mins from downtown Salem and most of it is highway so it's not too bad. It's also close to Boston so it's a good hotel to be right in the middle. The hotel itself was a bit confusing during booking. There are technically 2 hotel properties in the building, a Hampton Inn and a Homewood Suites. I'm assuming that the Hampton Inn bookings are more of the traditional hotel rooms while the Homewood Suites bookings are obviously suites. There are 2 front desks depending on which property you book with. The parking lot is spacious and the lobby of the hotel is clean. Elevators work fast and there are multiple available. While we did not use the pool or gym, we saw that the pool was decent and the gym was nicer than the average hotel gym. We booked our room with Hampton Inn so we had the traditional hotel room. Very spacious. Bed wasn't the comfiest but it was fine for our 1 night stay. Bathroom was modern and clean. There were a few spots on the walls in our room in the corners but that's my only complaint in terms of cleanliness. The room comes with a microwave and refrigerator which was convenient. All in all, it was a good room. Breakfast was probably the most disappointing out of our stay. There weren't too many options and a lot of the items weren't getting replenished. The food area also wasn't kept too clean. There are lots of food options in the area and the highway is very accessible so I would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for a nice hotel away from the cities that can sometimes upcharge for location. For the price that we paid, I thought this was a good deal.

Not happy with the breakfasts

We stayed in the same hotel - Homewood Suites by Hilton in New Hartford Utica, New York and I was expecting the same standard when it comes to breakfasts. Unfortunately it wasn’t the same. The selection here was very poor, I was missing some fresh fruit salad, gluten free options. Presentation was terrible. Ketchup packs were sticky from syrup or honey. Waffle batter everywhere. I would also expect regular plates and silverware instead of paper and plastic. The management of this hotel should go for an inspiration to New Hartford, take notes and do some serious changes here. Breakfast of this type is disgrace to the customers.

Perfect, nice location, parking, rooms, excellent service. Everything was perfect The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the attendants are very polite. I loved. Upon returning to Boston, I will stay at the same hotel
