DISCRIMINATION AGANIST GAYS
Discrimination against gay people! Locked us out of hotel while in hot tub! Security was called on us for apparently walking back from the beach which we never walked to the beach! Talked to front desk Christopher said he would talk to "upper management" and no apology! Disputing with American Express what a disappointment and discrimination against gay people!!
“Meh” is the best I can describe this hotel.
Came for a weekend getaway with my family. I was greeted by a young lady that should not be working the front desk of a vacation resort. She was all business asking for credit card, ID, went over the rules and sent me on my way. When I asked her about amenities on the property, where to park, easiest way to get our luggage to our room she responded with...the indoor pool is open but the heater is broken, the gym is closed. Being the 1st time to this property she could have spent to 2 min talking to me and be welcoming upon arrival. The room was a good size and accommodated the 3 of us. It was dirty though. My 6 year old got out of the shower and got some water on the floor. When I wiped it up the towel was black. I don’t think they have mopped this floor...ever. Shower was dingy. The best thing is has going for it is the ocean view rooms. That was worth the price of the room. They only had 2 towels in the room so we called for more and they were fast to bring them to our room. It was just ok and I would not stay here again for a vacation or weekend getaway.
What a wonderful time
There is nothing I would change. This has been such a wonderful experience. I loved everything form check in to check out. The view from the room, the indoor pool, the hot tub, the beach access, the customer service and the restaurant where first class. Would defiantly look at coming back.
Great hotel
The hotel was quite empty though most of the services were still running. Pools and fitness center are open. Restaurant offered good breakfast options. The location is nice and has beach access. About 1 mile from dining options.
Absolutely love this place!!!
We have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years. You can not beat it’s location on the beach and the oceanfront views are amazing from every room. The food from both the Oceans restaurant and the pool bar are very good and not skimpy on the portions at all. Our favs are the flounder sandwich, shrimp and grits, grilled chicken Caesar and the breakfast sandwich. The service here is top notch. Everyone from the front desk, bartenders, bell captains, wait staff, housekeeping, kids club and everyone else not mentioned have always bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. We were very sad to hear that Ann Marie is no longer with the hotel. She was the absolute best and a huge reason why we continue to come visit 4-5 times a year. The kids club is amazing!! Our kids have aged out, but for years it was the thing they looked forward to the most and it gave mom and dad the chance to venture out and try the local restaurants. And, being able to take the shuttle to pretty much anywhere we want to go is a wonderful service they offer. Due to COVID-19 things are somewhat limited and streamlined right now, but that is to be expected. We love coming here and will be back again next month. I can hardly wait.
