Baymont Inn & Suites Casper East

The hotel I stayed at the previous night was awful I barely slept at all and I had to be on a zoom meeting at 1 check in was not until 2 but they let me check in early so I could get set up for my meeting thank you!!!

Nevermind the massive snowstorm. Let’s talk about common sense in a snowstorm. As a business with guests who have no access to delivery services for food because delivery services were shut down, guests will have to either walk or drive to the nearest store or convenience store to eat at some point. Knowing this simple human need, you would think that a simple priority would be to shovel AT least the entrance way. I should not have to become frustrated as my children and infant are crying because they’re starving and having to wait for daddy to shovel the entrance and parking lot of the 2 foot deep snow around my car and a trail wide and long enough through the parking lot and out on to the major roadway so I can go get food and water for my family. It took me the better part of three hours to clear my car , the area around my car and about 75 yards of parking lot and driveway to get out to the grocery store. I realize it was a big storm and things happen, but I PAID YOU 160 dollars to stay in a very overly exaggerated sub par room and i had to clear your walkways and driveway so I could get my family their other basic needs besides shelter. Absolutely ridiculous. We won’t be back. Guaranteed. And I should bill you MY work rate of $75/hour for 4 hours of labor. I looked at the surrounding hotels in the area and they ALL had plowed parking lots and walkways and I absolutely guarantee you their guests didn’t have to f****** do it for their hotel staff! Unbelievable doesn’t even begin to cover how backwards my stay was.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years for both business and pleasure. I have always had great customer service and clean rooms. The pool is warm and clean and the hot tub is nice and hot! Due to COVID-19, breakfast offerings are smaller than usual. Pre-COVID, they offered a hot breakfast that included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Now it is slimmed down due to regulations but still not bad....especially for the rates!

I telephoned Wyndham hotels instead of booking through a third party because I wanted to make sure that employees and guests at the hotel were required to wear masks. I was told most definitely that all hotel Baymont hotels required masks. Not This One. When I relayed this promise to the desk clerk at my arrival, he vehemently told me that masks were not required in Wyoming. Obviously this hotel does not abide by the company rules for safety. In addition to the mask problem the hotel is snappy and the front yard is littered with dog poo.

The outside of the hotel is good. The room that I stayed in was dirty and had things left from the people who had it before me. The pool is nice but I would not trust the hot tub it was nasty looking and this is not the first time that I have stayed there and had this happen.When you tell staff about it they just say they will pass it along to the next shift. Also I had no cups in my room when I went up to the front desk to get some they said if there was none by the coffee machine then there was not that they could give us.
