We enjoyed our stay at Seashells. It is very well located within Margaret River region. Our room was quite adequate. I notice others on here complaining about the noise from the hotel next door. We were in a room right next to the hotel. While we could hear music with the balcony door open, once we had closed it there wasn't a problem. beautiful outlook from our room looking over park land.

Lovely Resort

We were very happy with our time at Seashells. We were lucky enough to secure a pay 2 stay 3 deal which made it quite good value. Our one bedroom apartment was enormous with a large lounge, bedroom (with TV) and bathroom with spa bath. The kitchen included a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Lovely balcony area overlooking trees with lots of bird sound. With everything you need you could easily stay here for a prolonged period. There is a lift to apartments on the upper floors, and a ramp to wheel cases from the car park. Caves House next door is nice for a drink and meal (pricey). The Lamont's gourmet breakfast hamper that we ordered before our stay ($60) contained enough food for breakfast on all three of our mornings there and it was beautiful, local, great quality food. After hours check in was straight forward and very well communicated to us. Reception staff were lovely. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely establishment.

Never again

They are not trying. Room is right next to a noisy hotel. Duff duff music from midday. No effort made to negate the noise. No warning when booking. Bathroom old and not clean. Fittings ordinary, old and dated. Little to no help when I asked to be moved away from the noise. Location is the saviour

Very Average and disappointing
Reviewed 12 june, 2021
So disappointed. Probably only a 3 star. Firstly lady on reception needs to go on a course on how to handle complaints and learn best practices in customer service. Couldn’t use the aircon absolutely stunk! Needs to be cleaned. Bathroom needs to have someone clean the mould. Hotel was a little noisy. We asked to be moved….response was.. you picked the room…..(really and you call that good customer service) we have never been here so how were we meant to know…maybe you should put a disclaimer up for some of the rooms. Plus side good location, however not worth the cost Would not stay here again. I was expecting luxury not average.

We loved our stay here

This is such a great place to stay - our one bedroom apartment was enormous - large lounge, bedroom, and bathroom. Full kitchen with dishwasher and such a blessing, a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen area. Beautiful view from the large balcony - warm and cosy inside - it is the perfect place to stay in Margaret River. There is a lift to apartments on the upper floors, and a ramp to wheel cases from the car park. It's quite remote from restaurants, however there is the Wed. to Sunday bakery (excellent) next door, and the Caves Hotel serves a more than satisfying continental breakfast. Only downside is the free internet which cuts off pretty quickly and then it's pay time! Would we stay at Seashells again - you bet we would.
