Desde que entras hasta que sales es espectacular, el servicio, la educacion y amabilidad del personal, la estancia, las habitaciones. El baño es bonito con bañera alta y con ducha muy espaciosa. Sin duda, muy recomendable.

A Nice Hotel Overlooking The Beijing-Hangzhou Canal.

I took my family to the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou between May 22nd and May 23rd of 2021. We booked the Club Room initially, but were upgraded to the Special View Club Room through my IHG Platinum Elite Membership. We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by Clark Xu. He was a professional and nice front desk staff member. Mr. Xu got us checked in at Rooms 1201 & 1205 in 11 minutes. Upon arrival to the rooms, each room was clean to perfection interiorly. We would appreciate more if the windows could be cleaned. But overall, nice design, modern and comfortable. We also loved the view of the historic canel. To my slight disappointment, the Club Lounge was understandably under renovations. The alternate services included Afternoon Tea at the Cigar Bar. We found the experience to be alright. It is a shame to not experience the real lounge. I should note however, for the alternate experience of the Happy Hour, we were upgraded to a Dinner at The Marina All-Day Buffet Restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it, but we certainly appreciate the given opportunity to try their buffet. We found the swimming pool to be pleasant and a great place to cool down. Breakfast was pretty local. With items like a Red Soup Little Wontons, noodles and other breakfast specialities. We should also note the appreciation of recognizing my IHG Rewards Club Membership by placing a dedicated seating area for those members. We would appreciate a larger variety and increased service from waitresses such as tea & coffee service. I should note however that this is Crowne Plaza and NOT InterContinental. This brand is at the Premium Level over Luxury Level of IHG. My expectations were lower than my usual InterContinental Hotel Visits. Overall, my expectations were met based on how I perceived the brand. We deeply appreciate the hard work by Mr. Xu and the Concierge Team. This hotel earns my 5 stars based on the expectations met.

More like a 4 star hotel now but good value for money

I am sure when this hotel was built it was very grand but now it seems outdated for a 5 star hotel. The staff were very good and spoke good English. Room was a great size and clean with view of the River. The pool is a great size but area around and changing rooms needs updating plus the Jacuzzi was out of use. I asked about spa treatments and was shown a funny room with massage chairs with an old man it... no wonder the prices were cheap 😂 Overall I consider it was good value for money as it was not that expensive including breakfast which was very nice.

Comfortable but Isolated

This is a nice hotel but it is located "off the beaten track". If all you need to do is work & sleep, fine, but if you want to discover local restaurants, etc it's too far out of town. My room (upgraded to suite) was impressive but the hotel was pretty much dead (January). It livened up during the week. Might come again just to work & get the points but not if I want to be surrounded by city life. I understand that in the summer the place is busy but in winter, better to bring a good book. No international TV channels.

First and pleasant stay

I had stayed in another 5 stars hotel in Yangzhou many times in the past 5 years whenever I came to Yangzhou. This time I took a recommendation from my business associate to stay at Crowne Plaza Yangzhou. It was such a pleasant stay. I wish I could have stayed at this new Hotel earlier. This Hotel is a bit far from the city centre the driving time is close to 20 minutes. It is located in a newly development zone in Yanzhou which is quiet, facing the Lake and close to the famous Great Canal; indeed those were our preference over the noisy and crowned city centre. My business partner from USA and I both stayed at Club Floor. Our rooms were spacious and clean; the setup and facilities of our rooms were well appointed. Both of our rooms had great lake view. The Hotel is modern designed and self-contained. The reception and lobby area is huge. There is a highly comfortable lobby bar and an Italian restaurant Marco Polo located at the lobby floor. We enjoyed our dinner at the Marco Polo restaurant with its authentic Italian cuisine, high quality food and services, and the nice ambience. The buffet breakfast was good with a good combination of both western and traditional Chinese food. The gym was small but it was decent and well equipped with a full range of training machines. We also liked staying at the Club Lounge to enjoy our evening cocktail and snacks. I have no hesitation to recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for staying at a quality, self-sufficient Hotel in Yangzhou in a quiet but nice neighborhood.
