Had room in the Antelope building. Room had two beds, apparently clean carpet, tiny shower, electric heat, coffee, refrigerator, and no air conditioning. Supposedly had internet, but it was useless. No real problems.

Quiet and Out of the Way Place to Stay

Reviewed 10 september, 2021

I see complaints about lack of WiFi and TV, but this is why we vacation in the National Parks! It’s nice to not have the media screaming their agenda at you for a few days. Anyways, had a great stay at YNP. I like the price point of Grant, and coupled with the fact that this location is out of the way from major tourist areas like Mammoth and Old Faithful. Traffic was at a minimum, and we had several nights of quiet sleep. Beds comfortable, room was clean and everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. No cleaning service, which I’m growing to enjoy now that we’ve travelled a bit. I like not having cleaning service rummaging thru my room when I’m not there. I’m don’t need a daily cleanup/bed straightening any more when on vacation than when I’m at home. I’d stay again, and hope to revisit the park again someday.

Positive: Very nice front desk service. Negative: no internet, no tv . Furniture and bedding old, pillowcases to small for the pillows , sheets to big, room and bathroom was dusty and not very clean . ( Big boots prints on the bathroom floor .) Lodge need a good make over.

Surprisingly good

We were under the impression that this lodge with nothing but a bed in a room. We found wifi, a comfortable room, very clean. Hall may need to be vacuumed. In the lobby area we found a soda, snacks and ice machine. Parking area is well illuminated.

Overpriced for what it is. limited services due to Covid.

We knew two couples staying at the RV site, near Grand Village, so we booked there. The registration staff was very friendly and helpful. NO restaurants at all other than "to-go" sandwiches. We didn't care since we ate at our friends camp. Due to Covid protocols, no housekeeping but you can request towels, coffee etc from the Registration office. Agree with others the place can be noisy if you're unlucky enough to be near the wrong guests. Quiet, fairly comfortable and in the Park. Overpriced for what it is, but we would consider staying there again. I would try for one of the lodges that are a bit close to the lake. First day there we saw a female elk, meandering through our parking lot -- more elk on the walk to/from the RV park.
