Spacious room with lake view and a balcony

Visited sun moon lake and held a small bday party in the room. Spacious room for balloons! The room still has plenty spaces even with two of my 1.5m number balloons. Balcony is perfect for Instagram shots, better use flashlight or else the background is lighter than your face. When we visited in December, there weren't much rain so a part of the lake close to the hotel is just muddy and brown, so just adjust the camera angle and your picture will still look nice. Close to the harbour, convenience stores, and the souvenir street. It has a huge parking lot 3 min away from the hotel, rmb to bring an umbrella in case it pours mid way. Elevators large enough to fit in a family of five with suitcases. The staff was nice and check us in efficiently. Tea and snacks are provided, and rooms are clean. They locate my granny's room next to us - really appreciate this. Overall, 10 out of 10. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit Taiwan. Btw I visited back in 2020/12 not 2021/12, trip advisor didn't provide me the option to choose 2020.

The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The rooms have free wifi and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel is very close to restaurants and shops. Guests can use the facilities of its sister hotel 100m away, on the lakes edge. The only real minus is the need to walk to the sister hotel for breakfast.

Stayed here as part of a guided tour so did not have any booking difficulties mentioned in other reviews. Checking in was easy. Had a lift to our room on the 5th floor. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was a bit small and the door opens inward so you can’t get in if somebody is using the toilet. Air conditioner works although not very cold. We had a view of the adjoining building. Swimming pool and breakfast are a block down the hill at their sister facility. Good breakfast buffet there.

This hotel is situated by the Sun Moon lake two side of room Lake View or city view. But not recommend to elderly because second floor and third floor only step no life are available. But staff are very helpful.

The hotel was right on the water and had friendly staff and clean rooms with balconies with lake views and nice breakfast buffet it has no pool or restaurant but the hotel next door is also of the same name and has a pool and very nice restaurant which this hotel uses as it’s own facilities
