DO NOT BOOK at this hotel!!!! Especially now with covid and the covid rules changing, this hotel where very understanding at first when we had the first wave and let us re book for this year, unfortunately once again due to still being in the mist of a pandemic our flights have been cancelled and is out of our hands! Our flights with easyJet have been wonderful and worked with us and once again changed our flights to next year Free of charge due to such uncertainty once again due to the pandemic. This hotel once contacted by myself , I asked for a date transfer for next year, they just cancelled by booking and only gave me the option to book this year, this is a discace and they clearly don't care for their customers, there was no offer of a transfer for next year and where very quick to take my money and cancel my booking, at the start of the pandemic they where accommodating, we do not feel safe to travel at all this year and that should be our given right to say and do so. I think it is unfair and disgusting that this hotel are treating customers like this. I was due to come out to a festival in Amsterdam, which is still not concrete in terms on going ahead. The festival organisers themselves have said to their loyal customers that due to this uncertainty and flights unable to go to Amsterdam they are MORE THAN HAPPY to allow us to use our tickets for access to next year. Baring in mind they are allowing us this privilege the current climate and appriciate people's decisions and right to look after themselves. I asked them to look into this and rethink Thier decision to honour me the option of rebooking with them in 2022 as it's no bother to them whatsoever as they have been paid, to dishonor it and still take my money while we are all dealing with the pandemic is absolutely disgusting and has certainly caused me unseasarry stress ,i'm still no further with a response back from them via email to come to an agreement for the dates asked for next year as they won't budge on dates as it seems , it's impossible right now to get to Amsterdam and even more so work commitments making it hard to even go later in the year hence why I made a booking for the dates I did and hence why I'm asking for certain dates next year , All so unnecessary, when we booked we new that we where on a non refundable payment but as I keep mentioning we are in a pandemic , easy jet and the festival and other means of travel for that particular date have been more than happy to accommodate us once again for the following year and they where all non refundable !!!!!!

A lovely hotel right next to Zaandam Station and a short stroll right in the centre of the town. We really enjoyed our stay at the Zaan Hotel and they were very accommodating of our needs. The room was comfortable and a really big size. Our room was made up for us even when we did not request it which was very considerate. We generally enjoyed our stay and reccomend it for anyone wishing to stay in Zaandam!

I had booked a room for one day to have some me time on my birthday. Very friendly staff. The room was nice & clean room. Everyone in the lobby wore masks. The view from the window is nothing extra-ordinary. Overall a pleasant stay.

It's a late review but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zaan hotel.. well maintained room with an amazing service! Loved the fact that it wasnt far from the metro station so easy travel to Amsterdam Centraal. Had to cut short our stay due to Covid 19 but will definitely go back..

We have stayed at the Zaan Hotel 4 times and everything was brilliant as always. Nice clean spacious room, very friendly staff, and they have done a great job to make sure it is safe during these COVID times. Thank you, Merry Christmas, and we’ll be back again soon hopefully!
