This city hotel is situated in an old colony in the historic city centre. The hotel was built in the 17th Century and later fully restored by the state government and the Bureau for the Preservation of Colonial Buildings. Therefore the original appearance of the terraces, corridors, balconies and staircase was preserved where possible.
