More about the hotel
Excellent hotel for location
This hotel has an excellent location to the old historical district of Zaragoza. It also provides a great location for viewing parades if you happen to be in Zaragoza during their major festivals (Pilar in October and Passover week in March/April). Be aware, if you like to exercise, the gym equipment is very old and you will be disappointed.
Good Location
This hotel is conveniently located close to shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions. We had a car so there was parking but at a cost. The rooms were basic but clean and the price was very affordable. We had breakfast out of the hotel as there is alot of choice. Zaragoza is a beautiful town to visit and would recommend a couple of nights here.
Good Choice
Conveniently located downtown near cathedral and shopping. Expedient front desk staff. Large rooms. Good bed. A/C. Safe and small fridge/mini bar. Flatscreen TV. No coffee maker or tea kettle. Sufficiently sized bathroom with bathtub/shower and hairdryer. Good and varied breakfast buffet. Restaurant and bar on premises.
Convenient location
The hotel is right in the center where you want to be. Close to tapas bars and tourist attractions. Friendly staff. Rooms are plain and simple , bathroom needs to be updated though. We enjoyed our stay here.
Hmmm a very dubious 4 star
I know that you can get lucky or very unlucky with hotel rooms but we definitely had a pretty grim few nights here. On a non-smoking floor with direct access to a smoking reception area/room so the whole floor smelt of smoke. The first night there was a party in the reception room with loud music which would have been only slightly annoying had it not been for the group of child guests given free rein to run screaming and having a ball up and down the corridor. I spoke to a very unhelpful guy at reception who was not at all concerned and was told that the party would be over in 5 minutes- 45 mins later they were still running screaming down the corridor. I’m writing this on our second and thankfully last night listening to the screams of two other children next door. Don’t even get me started about the long black hair in the bath and sink when we arrived which did not belong to us. The bathroom is pretty grim. On the plus side the location is excellent! & Zaragoza is a great city.
