The renovated Le Meridien is amazing Hotel Manager Igor Ruge has made some good decision and the relaunch is so good. All the staff are attentive and helpful. Our housekeeper Nezan really took care of us and the room. Pool and lifeguards are great, Grant was friendly and welcoming.

I would like to say how amazing was staying for a night in captain’s Arms again After renovations we thought something will change but we were wrong. I will take this opportunity to say that the key in this place is Mr Maher, who worked in this place for years and many of us as customers we came and we felt this comfort because of the way dealing with us . New staff had join this place but his touch in leading was the same. Thanks again to keep this atmosphere as it was before
Staff are the heart of this hotel

I have been coming to Le Meridien Abu Dhabi for 19 Years mostly with work but also for many holidays. I have just returned from Holiday including F1 with my family . The Hotel has gone through many changes over the last few years and I wanted to post a review. Front Desk - Excellent and fast check in and the Senior Duty Manage Chandrakant Machiger was as helpful as ever, if you have a problem with your room Chandrakant would sort, Concierge - Abdelsalam and Ismail are so helpful - especially with sorting PCR testing - They will print out for you and organise everything Rooms- all refurbished to a very high standard - the only complaint (From my wife) there are no draws Wifi - Used to be crap but now is excellent through out the hotel and pool/beach Pool - Again fully refurbished new swim up bar and beds in the shallow part of the pool - New four poster beds being positioned round the pool and on the beach - Sunbeds very comfortable. Constructive criticism some of the sunbeds could be positioned better to capture more of the sun too many of the beds are in the shade. Gym - all fully refurbished with new equipment - Spa not yet open Greek - Didn’t try it but I spoke to someone who did and said it was excellent Italian - Due to open very soon - Very big restaurant NRG - GONE oohh nooooo this is a big mistake - Used to be packed for the sports events and was a great atmosphere - NOTE to MANAGMENT this is a big mistake and you really should consider bringing this back. Club Lounge - Far too small only 14 Seats so gets full very quickly - - NOTE to MANAGMENT - This was better when it was located in the Latest Recipe, and you could utilise the decking Breakfast – Breakfast is great – lots to choose from in a buffet managed professional by Annabel Santos – She has an infectious smile even though you cant see it these days behind a mask her welcoming manner is a delight Capts Arms - What can I say about this place - Now its been knocked through so the inside is now double in size - Toilets upstairs is a bit of a pain but only just - What amazing food excellent quality and prices not too bad the staff have to be the best they are so attentive and friendly - Anish Kumar , Rafi Salam & Abihlash don’t stop smiling and their friendly welcome is infectious their families should be very proud of their hard work .Ragine Guinto is the spirit of the Philippines and typical of how hard working the Filipinos are she is lovely and a credit to the hotel - Maher Halout is a brillaint manager and is so calm and friendly - he is a brillaint host and you can tell he has the respect from all his staff - The chefs are excellent and food prepared by Head Chef Vikey and Jnr Sous Chef Basudeu Bhusal is as good a food as I have tasted anywhere in the world. Like I said I’ve been coming to the hotel for many years as I have travelled extensively throughout the world and this is by far the friendliest hotel I’ve been to – it was never the best in terms of facilities and the quality of them but now its renovations have brought it up to a 5 star level, But by far what makes this hotel is the great staff many good ones have left over the years but many (and new ones) remain – I cant wait to go back.
