Great resort and facilities. Excellent service and very accomodating staff. Everything is perfect from check in to departure. The rooms we booked were wonderful, the pool area is nice and very calm. The food is excellent. The entertainment is wonderful. Every night a different theme and music but always the same amount of fun.

My first visit to The Kamal after a 9 year break and lively to see all the same friendly staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean as ever although rooms need updating. We were first shown to a really dark tatty room but were given a brighter room immediately. Note: if you have booked with booking.com you are given inferior rooms and have to pay extra for a pool view. Breakfast has improved greatly but you have to pay 40dh for an omelette so we tended to have breakfast at Papote behind Uniprix as recommended by the last poster. The hotel was very quiet so the bar wasn't open but we tend to go to Uniprix Bar. We had a lovely week in the best hotel in Agadir and already planning to return. Thank you Mohammed, Abdul and the rest of the staff.
Our second home!

After yet another lovely stay at the Hotel Kamal, I am pleased to say that things are definitely on the up, after a few years of 'neglect'. Gone is the boring old bread and jam for breakfast - now there is a lovely buffet breakfast for about £3 each plus freshly cooked eggs (boiled, omelette or fried) if you want. The bar area has been refurbished, although the opening times can be a bit random. The pool area has new sunbeds and mattresses which are all spotless - as is the entire hotel. Food and drinks are available during the day from the pool bar at a reasonable price. The staff are all polite, friendly, efficient and caring - we feel as if we have 'grown old' with them as we have been going there for that long! Even the hotel cats are well looked after thanks to Aziz the owner buying 'Felix' cat food for them! There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, we particularly like Le Papote cafe at the back of Uniprix, and my partner loves to have a big beer on the terrace outside Uniprix, which is more or less opposite the hotel. If you need a book to read, there are lots to choose from in the cupboard under the TV in the lobby. We love this place and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Agadir. Thank you all for another fabulous holiday.
Great Budget Hotel, What You See Is What You Get

Staff where great, very helpful with all there answers to our questions about the area and also helpful in writing down our bus station for us so we could easily get a Taxi in the morning. Room was basic but clean and large enough for two people to stay comfortably.
Great Stay !

Im just back from 2 weeks at the Kamal (the HK) which is home from home and Im pleased to say that being a regular visitor changes are well under way. The public areas inside and out have all been refurbished and I understand the rooms are about to undergo modernisation too. Breakfast is now a simple buffet with eggs and various breads cheese olives etc and a choice of coffees and teas and fresh fruit juices. The pool snack bar has also reopened with day long service of drinks pasta dishes sandwiches etc. The whole hotel has a renewed vibe, is spotlessly clean and staff welcoming and helpful as usual. Yes, the rooms at present are dated but comfortable with plenty of hot water for shower or bath.Flat screen tv in the bedroom with BBC World and Euronews. The comfy bar area has limited opening hours and drinks menu. There is no restaurant in the hotel but lots to choose from within only a couple of minutes walk. The pool area is a well maintained haven that cant be imagined in the city center and the prom and beach hardly a 10 minute walk away. I can definatley reccomend the Kamal as the place for a relaxing stay.
