OK return stay

Reviewed 18 november, 2021

Check-in was easy enough, even though our keys weren't ready. The staff were all very friendly. The room was a decent size and seemingly clean. The large bed was comfortable and had non-feather pillow options (great for allergy sufferers!). There was a power hub on each nightstand (perfect for charging phones & devices at bedside!). The room had a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, iron, and ironing board. The heating/air conditioning fan was noisy and would not turn off; even turning off the system and setting the fan to low the unit blasted air all night long. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo with a little mold in the tile grout--housekeeping needs to give it a good scrubbing. The shower water pressure was abysmal, but the hot water stayed hot. There were ample towels, a hairdryer, and a wall-mounted magnifying glass, which is always a nice touch. The free WiFi was not password protected (not good!) but was relatively fast. Parking was free in their open-air lot. I might give the hotel another go there next time I'm in the area.

Room mix up

Reviewed 21 october, 2021

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend wedding, checking in late friday night. Upon entering "our" room for the first time, to our surprise (and his) we encountered a man in his boxer briefs. We quickly realized the hotel staff had double booked the room. It was a very unfortunate mistake. To add insult to injury, we waited for assistance in the hallway with all of our luggage for 30 min, having to call back to remind them of the issue. The manager Gilbert was incredibly nonchalant and dismissive of the experience. This is not a convenience issue, this is a safety issue. I blockaded my door for the weekend in case a stranger was mistakenly given my room key. I am upset this mistake was made, but am even more in disbelief at the way the staff handled the situation. Will not be staying here again.

Great job

I’ve been staying in a lot of hotels and I know a leave of customer service, I had a great experience with Diana at the front desk, she’s absolutely know how to make a guest happy and do a great job. Thank you Diana for changing my mood. Keep up the great work.

A/C at the bar has been broken for over a month.

Reviewed 6 august, 2021

The A/C at the lobby bar isn't working. It's almost 100 degrees today and there's no A/C. I asked how long it's been broken. I was told it hasn't worked for over a month!!! There's not even any fans down there. The poor bartender is sweating profusely. I'm astonished. How can a chain as reputable as Sheraton/Marriott just ignore something as important as air conditioning??? I was wondering why the bar was so empty on a Friday evening. Now I know. And instead of patronizing the bar at my hotel, I will go elsewhere. It's so short sided of the hotel owner to make their employees and guests suffer needlessly.

Very disappointed stay

Reviewed 30 july, 2021

The hotel is located at the base of hills, in a quiet block, since it is elevated from street level, high up from freeway, however it turned out to be a very disappointed stay: - the ACs are loud, loud loud: we turned the AC off in our room, but still heard loud bangs and hums from ACs in surrounding rooms, even though it seems that only alternate rooms seem to be occurpied, not right next door. - the hotel lounge was closed due to COVID, and the restaurant was only open for dinner, didnt see these disclosed while booking on marriott.com, otherwise would have choose some other marriott hotels with breakfast. As compensation, we were offered free bottles of water, but the bottled water in room still carries a $4 price tag. - no sanitizer available inside the elevator
